  1. Wed Nov 9th,
    "Morning, MaryLu."
    Another great photograph !!! Love the colours and the detail. This ship "looks like" ... it "would have been" a grand one, in it's own day ! Methinks another story could brew from this photo ! Very interesting, indeed.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Take care, and, God Bless,

  4. It DOES look like the Flying Dutchman! How sad that its abandoned. They should make a tourist sight out of it. Man, if ships could talk, I wonder what yarns they would spin. However, I have a question: How do the captains on these ships come with such interesting names for them? I know most of the time they refer to the ships as a "she", but then, the Flying Dutchman was not a she-ship. Hmmm...

  5. Yes, the Flying Dutchman she be. An ye may be right about the crew.. a bit o' investigatin' be necessary.
    I believe the Flying Dutchman still be a she ship, Eszter. No matter the name, ships are female.. because they are strong and beautiful and can survive any storm!

  7. Hmmm....not sure this is the ship for me. The sun would beat down on you if you were in the middle of no where and then you'd get sunburn and when it peels...yuck!
    Abandoned...=(

  8. I agree, Rebekkah! I'd rather have a ship that's actually moving and going somewhere. LOL.
