21 Signs of the Soon Return of Jesus!

UPDATE: I wrote this list back in 2016. It is now 2021. The signs I list below are still true AND many of the birth pangs have only increased. The introduction of the Covid "virus" worldwide and subsequent "vaccine" are the beginning of the New World Order take over. They want to depopulate the planet and then become the rulers of whoever is left. These are evil, Satan-worshipping people who prey on children and sacrifice them to Satan. This is the Antichrist Beast System and it is here. I believe we will see the rapture this year, but time will tell.  If you want to know more, read my article entitled. Take the Red Pill  here at the top of my blog. Do not fear!  God is with His people. If you don't know Jesus, you better get to know Him now. Click on "How to be Saved" to find out how.

Our Prince is coming!

First of all, you may be scratching your head and wondering why I've spent so much time putting this post together. I run across many Christians who have no interest in end-time prophecy. I cannot tell you how many times I've heard the phrase "People have been predicting Jesus's return for centuries. Nobody knows the day or the hour."  Yes, this is true. But does that mean we shouldn't be paying attention?  Others criticize me and say I should be focusing on saving souls and doing God's will rather than spending my time studying the second coming.  But I say, why can't I do both?  In fact, why does one preclude the other?

Let me list some reasons I believe studying prophecy and looking for Jesus's return is vitally important

  • For every prophecy in the Bible about Jesus's first coming, there are 5 about His second
  • Jesus, Himself, chastised the people of His day for not reading the signs of the times and being ready for His first coming. How much more will He chastise us for not being prepared for His second arrival?
  • Watching Bible Prophecy come true not only increases one's faith but brings others to a saving knowledge of Christ (Biblical prophecy was a major factor in my salvation)
  • We are instructed in the Scripture to always be looking for Jesus's return and to be ready
  • The early church, including Peter and Paul spoke often of the second coming
  • Being in a ready state for Jesus's return helps one live a holy life.
  • Seeing prophecy being fulfilled gives one hope
  • Knowing the signs of the times keeps us from being deceived and from the great deception the Bible predicts will come upon the entire world.

1. The 7000 year plan of God

Several  prominent theologians believe that the Bible teaches a 7000 year plan of God, which started at the Creation of man, lasts for 6000 years, and will end up with the return of Christ and His millennial reign on earth for 1000 years. (Making it a complete 7000 years) After that final 1000 years, there is one final battle between God’s Kingdom and the forces of darkness and then there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth (Revelation 20-21).

God uses specific numbers throughout the Bible to signify certain things. 6 is the number of man, 7 is the number of completeness. 40 has great significance, as does 50 and 70. (More about these numbers later)  God is also extremely precise in His predictions. For example in Daniel 9, God tells us the precise day that Jesus will ride into Jerusalem before His crucifixion. In other words, dates and times and numbers are very important to God.
  1. In Genesis, God sets a pattern for  6 days for creation and 1 day of rest.
The Millennium is referred to many times as the "rest“.
  2.  A day is like a 1000 years (For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. Psalm 90:4  But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2 Peter 3:8).
  3. Another clue is that Hosea 6:1-2 predicts that the restoration of the Jews would occur after 2 "days", which is poised to occur now after 2000 years from Christ’s first coming. "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us; He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence.
These are just a few of the verses that point to a 7000 year plan for mankind. If you're interested, I suggest you research the topic on your own. I don't have the time to go into it in great detail here.

So where are we in this timeline? We all know that it's been over 2000 years since Christ, but what about the time before His birth? Have you ever wondered why God gives us so many numbers in the Old Testament? Down to the minutest detail He tells us how many years everyone lived and how long kings reigned. If you add them up, you actually come close to 4000 years. For more information, here's a good website I found.

2. Earthquakes and Famines and Disease on the rise

Matthew 24 is considered to be the Spine of Biblical Prophecy concerning the 2nd coming of Jesus by most theologians. Jesus lists several signs to look for that will precede His coming. One of those signs is the following in verse 7  And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places
In the same chapter, Jesus says that all these signs are like birth pangs. They will grow stronger and stronger and become more frequent.

A simple google search on earthquakes in the last century will confirm they are on the rise

I've found several websites with great information on the rise in the number of earthquakes. Here's just a few
http://www.cogwriter.com/earthquakes-today.php
http://thecostaricanews.com/eco/are-earthquakes-and-volcano-activity-on-the-rise/

Famines are also on the rise
Here's a list of the 10 Worst famines of the 20th century. Check out the millions of people who died

Recent Epidemics also on the rise:
Ebola, Cancer, Swine Flu, HIV, SARS, H1N1, Measles, Typhoid Fever, and Tuberculosis
You may think the last three are ancient diseases, but they are actually on the rise once again
Measles - 122,000 people died in 2012
Typhoid takes 216,000 people a year
Tuberculosis killed 1.3 million people in 2012
1.2 Million people died from AIDS in 2014

3. Signs in the Heavens

I'm a bit weak on my astronomy, so bear with me. I'm getting some of this info from various theologians online. If you're interested in knowing more, I suggest you do your own research.
In Genesis 1:14 God said
"Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years"

The thing of importance to note is that the stars are meant for signs to us, not just for seasons.
In Jesus' discourse on the last days He said in Luke 21
"and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven"

And talking about end times in Acts 2, we read "I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke."

I will admit that I've purposely stayed away from studying Astronomy for fear of getting mixed up in Astrology, but apparently things in the heavens will be quite active before Jesus comes. One of those things you may have heard about recently is a phenomena called Blood Moons.

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. Rev 6:12

What is a blood moon? It is a complete lunar eclipse in which earth's shadow casts a red hue onto the moon.  A blood moon Tetrad is when we have four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial lunar eclipses in between, each of which is separated from the other by six lunar months (six full moons).
These tetrads are not extremely rare, but they become rare when each blood moon falls on Jewish Feast holidays.  Each time that has happened something major has occurred in regards to the Jewish people.
In the history of the church age there have only been 8 Blood Moon Tetrads that have fallen precisely on Jewish feast days, and we just had one in 2014.
I'm not sure what to make of this, but I think it's worth studying.

Planet X.  If you google Planet X, you'll find a ton of info on it. It is a planet that flies by earth every 116-177 years, and every time it has come in the past, it has triggered major events. The next fly by is predicted for March 2016. Just something to be aware of.

Jupiter and Virgo
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.  Rev 12:1

Virgo is the virgin planet. Jupiter is known as the king planet. Apparently in November 2016, Jupiter goes into retrograde motion within Virgo for 41 weeks (human gestation period) before he is birthed from her womb on Sept 23rd 2017. (The king is birthed from the virgin. Sound familiar?) Time does not permit a discussion of retrograde here, but it fascinates me how the Gospel seems to be laid out among the planets and stars. Things seem to be happening in the heavens that we should be paying attention to.

4. Wars/Rumors of Wars

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.  Matthew 24: 6-8

Yes, there's always been war, but the 20th century saw two major World Wars, something the world had never seen before. For a list of wars and casualties in the 20th -21st Centuries, Click here.
I think you'll be surprised.

Rumors of wars? I'd say we hear lots of rumors of war every day, don't we?

5. The Last Pope?

This one is kind of interesting to me. It's a prophecy given nearly 1000 years ago, describing all the Popes who would come from that time until the final Pope before the end of the age.

Saint Malachy was born in Amagh Ireland in 1094. He lived a religious life as a monk, then he was ordained priest and finally Bishop. He made a pilgrimage to Rome and during the end of the year 1139 and the beginning of 1140 had a series of visions about 112 Popes from Celestine III, elected Pontiff in 1130 until the last Pope who is described in his list as Peter Romanus. After the last Roman Pontiff, Saint Malachy predicts the end of the world. According to some scholars who have studied Malachy's prophesies, they believe the current Pope is the final one.  I only include this because I found it really interesting and surrounded by much controversy, but apparently the resignation of the last Pope, Pope Benedict XVI was predicted, though no other Pope has ever resigned. I admit to knowing little of this topic but if it interests you, there are many books on these prophecies.

6.  Increase in knowledge and world travel

In the book of Daniel, Daniel receives one of the most important and lengthy prophecies about end times from Gabriel, the archangel. After giving Daniel a pretty detailed description of coming kingdoms, wars, events and eventually the great tribulation and the resurrection from the dead, Gabriel says this in Daniel 12:4

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

At no other time in history do we have unfathomable amounts of information at our fingertips on the Internet. At no other time since time began can we hop on a plane and land on the other side of the world within a day.

7. The entire world will see the return of Jesus

Even as little as 50 years ago, this prophecy would have been hard to believe. No way everyone on earth could see something happening in real time in Jerusalem. Now with smart phones, everyone on the planet will be able to see Jesus returning in the clouds!

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.  Rev 1:7

 8. Persecution of Christians

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you."  John 15:18
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.  Matthew 24:9

In two millennia of Christian history, about 70 million faithful have given their lives for the faith, and of these, 45.5 million -- fully 65% -- were in the last century, according to "The New Persecuted" ("I Nuovi Perseguitati").

Reported cases of Christians killed for their faith around the world doubled in 2013 from the year before, with Syria accounting for more than the whole global total in 2012, according to an annual survey. Read more at Reuters

Persecution is definitely on the rise due to the influx of radical Islam in the middle east. We have no way to know how many Christians they have butchered there.

Christians are the most persecuted religious group worldwide. An average of at least 180 Christians around the world are killed each month for their faith. (Source: Open Doors USA)

Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors simply because of their belief in Christ. (Source: U.S. Department of State)

Though we cannot compare with that kind of suffering here in America, I've seen an intense hatred for Christians growing even here in recent years. People being fired from jobs because they are Christians. Chaplains in the military not allowed to speak the name of Jesus. Businesses close who speak out against gays, and even shootings directed specifically at Christians.  Keep your eye on this because it will only get worse.

9. People will kill Christians and think it is what God wants

"...yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service."  John 16:2

Did you ever think you'd see a group of people who scream "god is great" as they are slaughtering thousands of innocent people?  It baffles the mind that people believe their God orders them to kill anyone who doesn't believe like they do. Yes, I'm speaking about Radical Islam whose followers have a special hatred for Christians and Jews. Hmm. Wonder why?  Before I get slammed with being a racist or Muslim hater, I'm neither. I love Muslims and often pray for them. However, a quick read of their Koran and Hadith and other writings of Mohammad, as well as what he did by way of example in his life time, proves that Islam demands the death of the infidel.
Yes, Christians have done that too over the centuries, I agree.  But NEVER because God ordered it or it said so in the Bible.

10. Lawlessness and Iniquity abound and love grows cold

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  Matt 24:12

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,  2 Tim 3:1-4

I thought about gathering statistics to prove this, but if you  live anywhere in the world, I don't think you need any. Crime is rampant, our jails are overflowing, and most people everywhere just don't seem to care any more.  Yes, there has always been crime and wickedness, but I've been alive long enough to notice how much worse things are now than when I was a kid.  In fact, when I grew up, I used to ride my bike through our neighborhood streets and go visit friends blocks away. My mother had no fear of me being kidnapped because only rich kids got kidnapped. Today, with all the pedophiles running around, you can't let your child out of your site. Kids are kidnapped for sexual pleasure and then dumped on the side of the road.
People used to leave their doors unlocked too. Especially if they lived in a safe neighborhood where everyone knew each other.  Now people hide behind massive bolts and sophisticated alarm systems. What about the language?  I would get my mouth washed out with soap if I said some of the words you hear people saying in stores and coffee shops.  Okay.. I could go on, but you get the point.

11:  False prophets

There are a TON of warnings in both old and new Testaments about False prophets. However Jesus warns us more than once about them in Matthew 24 as related to end times.  There have always been false prophets throughout the centuries, but apparently in the last days there will be more than ever.

There have been obvious ones over the years: People's Temple, Jim Jones, David Koresh, Branch Davidians, various Christian cults, Scientology, Wicca, Universalism, New Age... etc.. But did you know there are several people today who claim to be Jesus? Google it and you'll see. They actually have a following!  Also, I believe there are many false prophets within the church today, some preaching from the pulpit. They have huge followings and are almost worshiped like gods, and they twist Scripture ever so slightly so as to make it of no effect. We need to be extra careful what we listen to and who we listen to. Most of all, we must know the Scripture extremely well if we are to judge the truth from lies.  Remember Satan is very subtle with his lies. They almost always sound very close to the truth.

The thing that concerns me most is that there will be a final false prophet who will also claim to be world's messiah, and he will prove himself through signs and wonders. He may even say he is the real Jesus and that the Bible is wrong. People will adore him and many will be deceived by him.

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect  Matthew 24:24

12. People faint from terror

People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, Luke 21:26

Talk to anyone now a days and most people will say they are apprehensive of what is coming on the world.  Even here in America where we are accustomed to feeling distant from the wars in Europe and elsewhere,, that sense of security vanished after 9-11.  Just a quick glance over the news headlines each day reveals an abundance of terrifying events.  The recent Paris attacks, the shootings here in the US, our open border, the influx of refugees, military cutbacks, a collapsing economy, inflation, our health care system crises. Not to mention that there is an entire group of people who call us the great Satan and want us all dead. People today are nervous about the future. However, even as bad as it is now, I believe Jesus was talking about a time when things will be much worse.

13. Gospel preached through the entire world

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.  Matt 24:14

My husband has a theory about the spread of the Gospel. As we know it started in the middle east.. spread west to Europe and Africa, then it leapt over the Atlantic and took root in North and South America, and now it is finally ending up in Asia.  When all the Asian countries have heard the Gospel, it will have encompassed the entire globe.

Well, guess what?  China, Korea, and India have the largest growing Christian populations!
Here's just one article on China becoming the Worlds most Christian Nation within 15 years!
Here's an article about India

There are stories after stories coming out of Asia about how the Gospel is absolutely on fire over there, even despite the persecution. I'm actually a part of an organization called Global Media Outreach.  They use the internet to reach people in distant lands through a cool website and then various ads.  People can click on the ad and get the gospel presented to them right through their phone, and then if they want to receive Jesus, they can click another button and they get connected with an online missionary who can email with them one-on-one to help them find the truth.  So, has the Gospel been preached in all the world to every nation? I think we are pretty close.

14. Nations involved in the Gog-Magog war are aligning

There is a war described in great detail in Ezekiel 38 which many Biblical Scholars believe to be a war that occurs right before the return of Christ. It is referred to as the Gog-Magog War.

Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh,Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,  and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.  I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.
Ezekiel 38:1-6

There is much debate over what these countries are called now, so I'll just list the various interpretations

Rosh, Meshech, Tubal (Russia or Turkey)
Persia (modern day Iran)
Cush - (Modern day Sudan or Somalia, also could be Iraq)
Put (Modern day Libya)
Gomer/Togarmah - (Modern day Turkey and/or perhaps parts of Russia, or Germany)

Versus

Israel

The prophecy states that these nations will form an alliance and attack Israel.  This has never happened before, nor have these nations ever formed an alliance.  Until Now. If you follow anything about the middle east, you know that Turkey is on the rise in both power and in its Islamic roots, and Iran continues to threaten Israel. Also Libya has been in the news lately too!  It used to have a dictatorship but it is now run by Islamists.  All these countries hate Israel and continue to threaten to wipe Israel off the map.  Our recent deal with Iran has handed them the ability to make a nuclear weapon. Russia has also been flirting with Iran, which is unprecedented. Anyway, keep an eye on these countries and their attitude toward Israel.

If you're interested, read all of Ezekiel 38.  It's really interesting and you will discover that it has a happy ending!

15. Rise of Global government - One World Government

The Bible prophesies that in the end times a leader will arise who will unite the world in a one-world Kingdom. This man is called by many names in the Bible: The Assyrian, Son of Perdition, Antichrist, the Beast, man of sin, Lawless one, the mighty man, the violent man, deceitful one, etc...   He will unite the world and bring peace, but it will be a false peace.  He is spoken of in both Daniel 7,11 and Revelation 13, as well as by Paul in 2 Thessalonians, and other places throughout the Bible.

Never before in the history of mankind has there been so much talk about a global government. Plans have even been laid for such an endeavor at the UN.  World leaders are calling for a global government to help with the crisis of Climate control and terrorism.  Obama, Bill Gates, and even Pope Francis are calling for a one-world system.  Don't believe me?  Just Google "Global Government"

It is my personal opinion that this end time confederation of nations will be associated with the rising Islamic Caliphate. A short read into Muslim Eschatology (end times theology) reveals that their "messiah" is our "antichrist".  It's quite interesting but would take too much time here to go into. I suggest you do your own study, if you're interested.

16. UFOs - Return of the Nephilim

This sign is the one that will most likely shock a few people. I'm not saying I completely believe this, but after doing intensive research, I thought it was worth mentioning. In Jesus's end time sermon in Matthew 24, he said the following

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

One of the biggest things that characterized the "days of Noah", besides rampant immorality, was the mating of fallen angels with human women, causing the rise of the Nephilim, which tainted human DNA. This was all part of Satan's plan to keep the Messiah from being born and one of the main reasons, I believe, God decided to wipe out all mankind and all Nephilim with them.

Genesis 6:1-5   describes this event and leads right up to the flood of Noah

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Do you see how the Nephilim are somehow intertwined with God's anger and decision to flood the world?

So what does this have to do with end times?  Well, if Jesus said the days before His coming would be like the days of Noah, we should expect to see some Nephilim activity. I've done a lot of research on this.. so bear with me but I believe the extraordinary rise in UFO sightings in recent years is connected to Nephilim. There has been a significant rise in UFO sightings and in abductions in recent years. I know some of you are shaking your heads at me right now, but  I encourage you to do your own research. I believe these UFO sightings are either demons or Nephilim. And I also tend to believe they will play a huge part in the deception that the Bible says is coming upon the entire world.

17. Mark of the Beast Technology

...and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:17

The Bible describes a mark of some kind that the Antichrist will make people get who swear their allegiance to him.  Apparently people can use this "mark" to buy and sell.  Sounds like a chip of some sort, doesn't it?  In fact, many companies are already developing a chip that is implanted just beneath the skin that will have personal identification information on it, including bank information.  This kind of technology was not possible 50 years ago.
Google "Microchip human implant technology" It has already been approved by the FDA

18. A Rabbi's prophecy

This one is super interesting!
Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary and prolific German rabbi of the 12th century who made some astonishing and specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true.
Here are some of his predictions that came true:

Prediction: In AD 1217 he predicted the Ottoman Turks would rule over Jerusalem for 8 Jubilees (A Jubilee is 50 years)   so 400 years
Fulfillment: The Turks took over Jerusalem in 1517 and ruled until 1917 when Allied Forces forced them out.

Prediction:  In the 9th Jubilee (Jubliee years happened every 50 years --see below for more info), Jerusalem will be a no-man's land
Fulfillment: From 1917-1967, The Holy land was under British mandate and belonged to no nation. Even after Israel became a nation in 1948, Jerusalem was split in two. The Jordanians controlled the east part and Israel the west. In 1967 Israel regained control of all of Jerusalem

Future prophecy!
Judah Ben Samuel also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic “end times” would begin. If he’s right, the 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.

19. Israel is a nation!

This is by far the most important sign. Why? Because for nearly 2000 years, no one could truly claim we were in the last days without Israel being a nation. When Jesus returns and places His feet on the Mount of Olives, it is to destroy the armies which are coming against Israel.

This particular prophecy is a special one to me because it is the prophecy that finally opened my eyes to the reality of God.   If you know anything of the History of Israel, you know that in 70AD the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and took all the Jews as slaves. As a result, Israel was no longer a nation and the Jewish people were dispersed throughout the entire world.

In Ezekiel 37 as well as elsewhere in the Bible, it is prophesied that one day God would gather all the Jews from all over the earth and bring them back into Israel and they would be a nation again. Mind you, this was prophesied 600 years before Israel even left the land.  NEVER in the history of mankind has a nation been annihilated and its people spread to every corner of the world and then 2000 years later, the people brought back and the nation restored with its original language and customs!! Think about it. It would be impossible without God.

Now that Israel is a nation again, the end-time clock has begun to tick!

20. 70 Years since Birth of Israel

70 is one of those cool numbers in the Bible. Just do a search in Bible Gateway on "seventy"

Here are a few of the important 70s

70 people went to Egypt with Jacob
70 Elders went up the mountain with Moses to worship God
70 Men were chosen to help Moses rule the people
70 sons of Jerrubbaal were killed by their brother
70 thousand men died during a plague God sent
70 bulls offered as a sacrifice
70 years was appointed for the captivity in Babylon
70 years is determined to be the length of a man's life in Psalm 90
Isaiah predicted Tyre would be destroyed after 70 years
The western wall of the city was 70 cubits wide
Jesus said to forgive someone 70 times 7
Jesus sent out 70 disciples to preach the Word

Israel was reborn 1947-48.  2018 will be 70 years.

21. Fifty years since Jews took over Jerusalem

50 is another important number in the Bible. I'll let you do your own search. Serious, type in fifty in Bible Gateway and look through the entire Bible. A couple of the more important 50s are that Pentecost was 50 days after the Resurrection and Moses was up on the mountain 50 days to get the Ten Commandments. Fifty is the number of deliverance and restoration. It is the number of years in between the year of Jubilee in Israel. The Jubilee year was a year in Israel when all debt was forgiven.  Slaves were freed, property was returned and everyone took the year off and celebrated.

And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.   Leviticus 25:10-11

Jesus made an interesting statement about Jerusalem in Luke 21
And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Jerusalem was under Gentile rule until 1967 when Israel won the 6 day war and took over the city. 50 years from that day puts us in 2017.  One thing that interests me about Jubilee is the returning of land and ownership of land to the original owners. We all know that because the Jews for the most part rejected Jesus as their Messiah, the gospel was given to the gentiles.  But if you've read the Bible, you also know that God isn't done with Israel yet. They are still His promised people and His covenant with them can never be broken.  After Jesus comes for His church, God will deal with Israel and open their eyes to the truth of Jesus as their Messiah. In essence the Gospel baton will pass from gentiles back to the original owners, Israel. Sounds like a Jubilee year to me!

_____________________________________________________________________________

I hope you've enjoyed my 21 Top signs. May they bring you hope, peace, and joy as you await the return of Jesus. I did not post these to invoke fear in anyone, but instead to invoke excitement, anticipation, and a desire for holiness and to do God's will with the time we have left. Let us get more serious about our walk with God and stop playing church. May we not waste the talents and time God has given us.

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1

"Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”  Luke 21:28

I'm sure there are more signs to list but these are the ones I'm focusing on. Do I believe that Jesus will return in my lifetime (As I'm writing this, I'm 57)  Yes, I do.  I could be wrong, but I really don't think so. (Not predicting a day or hour... so please no hate mail)

The thing is, whether Jesus comes soon or not for another thousand years, each one of us only has 80 or so years here on earth. Some much less. So, in essence Jesus will come for you during your life time. The only question is, will He know you and grant you entrance into heaven or will he say "I never knew you, depart from me" and you end up in a very dark place without light or love or anything good for all eternity.

If you aren't sure where you'll end up, all you need to do is ask God to reveal Himself to you through Jesus. You must be sincere and sincerely want to know the truth. God will answer your prayer. Then all you need to do is believe in Jesus, receive the sacrifice He made for you on the cross, and submit your life to Him.  It's simple and can be done in a minute. A minute that lasts forever.

  2. Great research and well stated, Mary Lou. I agree, churches give so little attention to the prophesies yet to be fulfilled and too many Christians are ignorant. I'm grateful to have been associated with Community Bible Study, a ministry that reveres and teaches the entire Scripture.

  3. I enjoyed reading your post, and I agree with you. We need to read & search the scriptures and be ready for Jesus' soon return. We need to tell the gospel to everyone so that everyone will hear & know.

Our church is preparing for a Revelation seminar to take place in March 28, 2016. "Unlocking Revelation". http://nilessda.org/unlock-revelation-series/
The website isn't fully ready yet, only a graphic. But more is coming soon!

Another great resource is found at:

They have books & a DVDs series you can read/watch at home in your time!

I don't have a google account so I had to select "anonymous"

  8. Hi Mary, thx for the info it was a really really great post. I was also occupied with topics related to the Day of the Lord these days and it seems more and more signs are appearing including what the Bible said about "And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy" Though the tribulation sounds scary but I am excited to be able to see the Lord, the day that us believers have been waiting for.

Though I also feel that the Day of the Lord is very very near which may start on 2016 or 2017, there is these verses that kinda make me rethink again.. "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."-Matthew 24:36-
"At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it."-Matthew 24:23"-

What do you think about these verses? understanding future prophecy in the Bible is never my forte so I would really grateful if you can share some of your insights on this. Thank you n Gbu ^^

    1. Thank you, Billy. The important thing to notice about that verse is that it says "day or hour". But it doesn't say year or season, right? No, we won't know the exact day or hour but I believe we will be able to know the general season and possibly year. Consider these verses in 1 Thess 5. Paul is writing about the day of the Lord's return

"But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

In other words, we will not be surprised. We will know when that day is close.
As far as the other verse you shared about the false Messiah's, I believe Jesus is simply saying that we will see Him in the clouds, so He's warning us to not believe it when people try to tell us He is already here. His coming will be such a fantastic event that there will be no doubt that it is Him! Exciting!

    2. Thank you for the sharing!! It is indeed very exciting if we will be able to see Him coming in the clouds of glory during our lifetime!! Jesus bless you Mary ^^

    1. Yes. that's true, but there are serious plans being made to rebuild it, including gathering all the sacrificial articles they need and appointing priests. All it would take is some sort of agreement on the location and it could be easily built within a years time. :-)

  14. Those are good pieces of evidence that show how we are living in "The Last Days". Yet there are people, including Christians, who believe we aren't going to see the End Times even though there are a ton of evidence to back that.

  19. Hi MaryLu, My coauthor, Carole Gift Page, told me just this afternoon about the prophecies on your website. You've accumulated a massive amount of great information, though I'm glad you use caution, since some of it is debatable. When I was a young man (I'm 80) prophetic conferences were a regular occurrence in many churches, but sadly, no longer. At my age, whether the Lord takes me by Rapture, or by death, it'll be soon. 20. I have recently become aware that the Orion constellation is visible from anywhere on earth at the same time. My friend tested this. I was in Nebraska and she was in Australia and Orion was visible to both of us at the same time. Maybe that is where Jesus will come through and where every eye can see Him.

The word (From) in Greek is as “out of” (Greek word, ek)

    The Bride of Christ- Rapture

    Revelation 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee (from, Greek, ek- out of) The (hour, Greek, hora- season) of (temptation, Greek, peirasmos- adversity or tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

  24. MaryLu this is just my thoughts on the Nephelim. It has to do with DNA. There has been all of these digs and Archaeologists some of them claiming to be finding Giants. Now with DNA splicing and all the horrendous experiments that are going on in science labs, I can't help but wonder about the M-RNA they are using in the covid vaccines. New and scary technology, that could mess with our DNA. Maybe not the first shot, but ones to come? Could satan's plan be to put DNA splicing into these shots from the giants they are digging up? Then it would pollute God's children with the fallen angels DNA. It would also make sense why those that take the mark the last three and half years of the Tribulation, can't be saved. It's just a thought, but I know this "crisper" technology and push for trans-humanism is moving fast. I remember growing up thinking how cool the Jetsons were with their robots. But have heard that it's easier to create robots out of humans with these chips they are working on, then to make clunky mechanical robots. I know it's all crazy thoughts, but seeing it unfold and this world is definitely becoming uncomfortable with satan's last roar picking up speed. I'm praying so hard for Jesus to come get His Bride... those who love Him...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly! I did on post on Nephilim DNA not long ago. It's the only thing that makes sense as to why people who take the Mark can no longer be saved. God would even forgive a Satan worshipper if he repented and turned to Jesus.. so why not those who take the mark? Because they are no longer human and Jesus only died for mankind! I know it all sounds crazy, doesn't it? This M-RNA vaccine and the transhumanism, etc.. but it's coming to pass faster than we can keep up with it! But that's okay. God is on the throne and He will rescue His Bride soon!! yes... those who love Him! Blessings to you!

  25. I’m registered to get the “vaccine”next week. I’ve been back and forth on whether to take it. My husband is a Christian but he says all I’m reading is propaganda. I’ve been fascinated with prophecy since I was a teenager. Read lots of Hal Lindsay. I was saved at 14 after listening to a preacher on the radio talk about hell in very vivid terms. I knew that’s not where I wanted to wind up. These are scary as well as exciting times.

    1. My husband is a Christian too and he says the same thing. Please pray about this, Gail. From what I know, the vaccine is bad bad bad. Please listen to the video I posted Feb 4th. It's a pastor who has done his homework. If you do get the vaccine, please pray against any ill effects and for God to protect you.
