Having a bad day? Things not going well?

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.  And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

 James 1:2-4

    "Morning, MaryLu."
Wow ... did I "need" to read those timely verses this morning ! Just about when you feel that the 'ship is sinking' ..... always remember -- the ANCHOR holds !!!
I've not been very patient, and sometimes my endurance level is COMPLETELY zapped !!! (Still waiting for an apartment unit with Niagara Housing -- coming up to three years soon.) This has been one long trial, for sure ! And I've never been good with 'waiting'. And once again, my favourite verse pops into my head: "Be still, and KNOW that I AM GOD" !!! Psalm 46:10.
Thanks MaryLu ... for timely verses, and a timely picture (that of feeling like 'sinking with the ship'). Very captivating picture ... and it truly speaks to how I am feeling.
Needed those encouraging words today -- to keep on keeping on !!! "Thank-You, Lord."
Take care, and, God Bless, In Him, Bren

    1. I'm so sorry, Brenda! I know you've been waiting for an apartment for what seems like forever! I'm not good at waiting either. Don't worry, if your ship sinks, God will toss you a life-preserver! Hugs!

  2. Praying for you Brenda. It is hard to wait. In that waiting room that God has brought us to is a learning room also. I have spent time and more time in the waiting room. Then I finally got the message-- He didn't abandon me -- He never just leaves us- He is there with us. A picture of hands forming a bowl or vase with wet clay on His Hands as he works forming a beautiful object--that's you--that's what I think He does while we wait for an answer.
So Brenda I will pray for you and I know that our awesome God has you right in His Hands while you are waiting.
