When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him,
And the son of man that You care for him?

Psalm 8: 3-4

  4. Good morning all,
I love this verse and this perfect picture . God is Awesome. When one looks at the heavens and sees the Stars and you think His hand has created those , you know and admire all His creations.
I have been on yet another vacation to Pennsylvania and to Toronto ,Canada. Stopped at the Niagra Falls and was blessed with the beauty of all the pure water, tons and tons -every second going over the edge of the falls . There is so much of God's beauty all around us if we take the time to look. Once I saw a little bleeding heart growing sideways out of a stone wall with its head turning towards the sun. It reminded me of the parable in Matthew about the seeds growing in hard rocky places. This little Bleeding Heart was in a stone wall, yet the blossom was turning towards the sun. This one Bleeding Heart grew in the same place every year-growing sideways with the blossom reaching upwards. Isn't that what we do? Always looking upward to the Son of our Father.
Blessings to you all. Thank you MaryLu for your beautiful pictures and verses.

    1. I've always wanted to see Niagra Falls! I agree, there is so much majesty and beauty in creation if we only take the time to look. Love that little Bleeding Heart... such a great analogy of us all with our bleeding hearts seeking the SON!

  5. Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the universe his invisible qualities — both his eternal power and his divine nature — have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what he has made.
