This man used to be a Satan worshiper in New York City. His testimony is really good. I have one of his books. After he got saved, he went to David Wilkerson's church there. Here he gives some good information on Halloween from the devil's perspective. Take it for what it is. Listen or don't, and don't shoot the messenger, Please. I'm just posting it here for your information.
Halloween is one of the pagan series of annual seasonal and astrological holidays, inclusive of Easter and Christmas, - sadly assimilated into Christianity over the ages. But the effect is a falsefied gospel. Let us pray for discernment. Leviticus 23 provides holy feasts approved by our almighty and living God, for us to enjoy.

ReplyDeleteOh my, thank you so much for this!! We have never ever celebrated Halloween and I'm so thankful we haven't! Mr. Ramirez said it so plainly and I was nodding the whole time I listened! I have always been so astonished how many Christians celebrate it, but Satan is a deceiver! I pray Christians will come to the truth of it and realize the wrong they are doing!
ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you! :)
I am praying right along side you, Rosalyn, that Christians wake up... so many don't even believe in Satan and demons and they have no idea the danger they open themselves up to when they dabble in these things.
DeleteIt's been many years since I celebrated Halloween (before submitting control of my life to Christ), but I do feel there is a good way that pumpkins and harvest can be used that don't relate to Satan. And that is in praising/thanking God for His beautiful Fall nature scenes and the bountiful foods harvested during this time of the year. I see no harm in also using them in home decor - but again, only as an example of gratitude to God for His goodness to and provision for us during the Fall season, not on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteLove, hugs, and prayers!!
I agree! There's nothing wrong with pumpkins or fall decorations... I believe it's only when the pumpkin is made into a jack-o-lantern that it becomes a tool of evil. Funny thing, before I got saved, I was really into Halloween. I have since repented and cast away any demonic influence that I opened myself up to during those years.
DeleteI have tried to sound the alarm for years about the truth of Halloween but have felt ineffective. :-( Good to know I’m not alone!!
