The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

  1. This verse was for me. For the last year I have been on the outside of my son's life. Over a family situation. I flew to Georgia with the intention to clear the air. Ok. Here I go- ahead of what God has planned for us. The next morning, alone ,everyone was at work or school. Praying I sensed the sadness and loneliness in this beautiful home. And I cried. And I prayed , and prayed untill I could cry no more and was silent. In that silence before God, I let Him heal my broken heart over my son and his broken relationship with his son. I knew that this wasn't about me but it was about the broken relationship between father, mother, and their son and a healing between his two sisters. I then walked through each room praying for Jesus Christ to fill each room and person with His love and peace. I prayed and gave this house to God and all who lived here. I know in Gods time -He will heal the broken hearts and restore this family to walk with Him once again . You ask why I am writing this-- because this verse is God's answer to my prayers. He is an awesome God! And He is there for each one of us! How He waits for us to let go and let Him work through the lives of our loved ones. After all He is God!
A PS---They are going to church with me on Sunday!

    1. Wow... great story, Elsie! And they are going to church with you? That's a miracle if I ever heard one! It's so hard to let go and let God.. especially with our loved ones. I have the same problem. We must obey whatever the Holy Spirit tells us to do and then stop. It's the stopping that's hard. I will pray they are touched by the Spirit in church!
