She Walks in Majesty Release party! - Win a signed paperback!

I'm very excited about the release of the final installment in my Protectors of the Spear trilogy!  When I embarked upon writing the first book, She Walks in Power, I had no plans to continue the series. However, my readers kept begging me to write more.  Honestly, these books have been a blast for me. I love being able to depict Spiritual warfare in a natural way and the medieval time period provided the perfect backdrop.

She Walks in Power reveals the awesome power of God, His Spirit, and the power the saints possess in name of Jesus.
She Walks in Love reveals the greatest power of all, Love! Especially how much God loves us and wants us to be whole in every way!
She Walks in Majesty reveals that all who follow Jesus reign as kings in this life and will rule in the next!

If you haven't read these books yet, there's so much more to these stories. I cover alcoholism, revenge, works vs. grace, insecurity, fear, impulsiveness, lack of faith, rejection, and a host of other topics, all wrapped nicely inside adventurous and very romantic stories of ladies and knights and an evil that tries to defeat not only them but all good in the world.

Let's learn a little about the hero and heroine in She Walks in Majesty

Seraphina de Mowbray

Seraphina has been a servant all her life. She was abandoned by her parents, left orphaned, and hired out to be a lady's companion to two daughters of a baron. Hence, she feels like she is of little value. The only family she has every known has been the two sisters she served, Alexia and Cristiana. Because of her love for them, she heads off on a dangerous journey to the capital of Enclasen to see the king and convince him to withdraw the charges of witchcraft that the sisters have been falsely accused of.  But, who is she to be granted an audience with the king, and why would he bother to listen to a lowly servant?

Seraphina is courageous, self-sacrificing, loyal, cares for the plight of others, wise, and independent.  However she also believes herself unworthy of the task set before her.

 Sir Damien LaRage

At a young age, Damien was left an orphan after his mother committed suicide and his father was murdered. Destined to be a poor tradesman all his life,  Damien was rescued by a powerful family friend who helped him to rise and become a member of the King's Elite Guard. However, Damien has never given up his quest for revenge on the person who killed his parents. He believes that man to be at the king's court, and hence, he is none too happy to accompany his love, Seraphina back to the capital city of Regalis to see the king. But what happens when he must choose between his revenge and Seraphina's safety?

Damien is a born leader and a strong and skilled warrior. He is confident and motivated. He has a huge heart and cares deeply for others, though he tries to hide it well. He also drinks too much and is angry and bitter about his childhood.

Here's what early readers are saying:

MaryLu Tyndall has penned another exhilarating, action-packed medieval journey—teeming with courageous, errant knights, lovely ladies, gallant lords, and opulent castles! However, underneath the guise of a lavish palatial lifestyle filled with merriment, lie betrayal, secrets, greed, and evil.  Diana Flowers, book reviewer

I have been eagerly waiting for this novel and I was not one bit disappointed! A riveting conclusion to a powerful series! Tyndall is quite good at bringing spiritual warfare into her books and it is incorporated here so well. Susan Snodgrass

With fascinating storytelling, unique worldbuilding, and incredible themes of God's power and redemption, this story is a truly wonderful read, and one I highly recommend.  Reading Bee Reviews

  8. I have not had the pleasure of reading this series yet, but I do have the first two books on my Kindle! The first thing that came to mind when reading about Seraphina is that her story sounds similar to that of Esther in some ways.

  18. I love stories like this with the main character being a woman that fights for the rights of the wrongly accused. I would love to be like that.

  19. I can relate to feeling unworthy of the task set before me. Thankfully, feelings don't always reflect the truth!

  20. Although not on the scale of Damien's, I can relate to holding onto bitterness and some anger. While I often quickly recover from feeling spiteful through venting, laying it out for the Lord, and praying for grace, there was a time that I held onto a destructive resentment that hurt me more emotionally than it ever hurt the other person. I'm sure they weren't even aware of it. I was in my 20's and spent a couple of years feeling judged and indignant bitterness towards this person. There was a point that I had to forgive this person without being asked and then also ask for forgiveness for my sins of bitterness and resentment. It was definitely a life lesson and something that I've worked hard to carry over into my marriage and other relationships. It's then that grace became an acknowledged and powerful word and deed in my life.

    1. Terrill, I think we have all dealt with this at some point in our lives. It's a hard lesson to learn. I'm glad you came through it with shining colors! And yes, when you have to give grace to someone who probably doesn't deserve it, it means all the more to you that God did the same for us!
