MaryLu's Musings and Links

Dear Saints,

I'll be honest with you. I'm weary. I'm being attacked on all fronts, friends, readers, blog-followers, and family. I'm sure many of you are as well!  The enemy is after those of us who understand what's going on and are trying to warn others and save the lost, those of us who pray always and fast for those we love. I honestly wish I didn't know what I know. I wish I could just play with my grandkids and blow bubbles in the backyard!  People have accused me of being prideful, wanting to be in the limelight and receive praise for what I do. (I actually receive very little affirmation for what I do. I don't have a huge audience. I make no money either and believe me, these posts don't help me sell books!)  If you knew me, you'd know that I'd rather not put my thoughts and warnings out there at all. I hate confrontation. But I do this because I feel an urgency from the Lord to warn people. I only answer to Him.

The Word from the Lord today is "Hang in there, Bride. Don't give up."  I believe Jesus is coming soon, and the news this week only confirms that. We are seeing more and more across the globe the requirement for people to have a Vaccine Passport to go anywhere. New York already has something in place and Hawaii is considering it. I wouldn't be surprised if my state of CA soon followed. We know they are doing this in England now as well. And Israel, of course. The new development this week is they are starting to generate hatred for those people who are refusing the vaccine. Some are even connecting non-vaxers with White Evangelicals, causing even more people to hate Christians. Canada is setting up camps for the non-vaccinated and New York's new law gives the governor the power to intern anyone he deems to be a threat to the health of society. Across the world, Christian persecution is on the rise. China is soon to make even house churches illegal. And War drums are thrumming between China and Taiwan and Russia and Ukraine.

All these things are supposed to happen. All these things have been prophesied in the Bible. Jesus told us not to be afraid, that we are not of this world or this world's kingdoms, but that we belong to the Kingdom of God. He has gone ahead to prepare a place for us, and soon, the Father will give the nod, and Jesus will return to sweep up His Bride and bring her home for a glorious wedding!

If you are weary like me, rest in Jesus. Take time to just be with Him, tell him your struggles, fears, and worries. Allow His love to wash over you. Stand firm on His promises of provision and protection for those who are His. Memorize Scripture, rebuke the enemy in Jesus's name, and stand strong. Finish strong. Don't give up now!

Articles of interest this week

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

    1. Bless you, Ron! That means the world to me. I give all glory to Jesus who gives me strength and keeps me going. I love your analogy of grains pushing through the hour glass.. it's a great visual of where we are. Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
Blessings to you and yours, Ron!

  2. I agree, MaryLu, I am constantly amazed by those in the Body of Christ who express disagreement with on another in hostile and aggressive ways. It's bad enough when it's unbelievers, though to be expected, but the Bible warns us it will come from family as well--biological and spiritual. Be encouraged, dear lady, I in no way see this as an attention grabber, rather an expression of what many are experiencing and feeling. We are all weary, those of us watching closely for the Lord's rescue in the midst of this unbelievably evil generation. Thank you for keeping us informed and aware. There are many, many who appreciate you and your efforts. Blessings, dear one. Judi

    1. Thank you, Judi. I tend to get more rude, angry comments from believers. Isn't that weird? You bless me with your kindness. Thank you so much! My heart is for the sleeping church... it's been my mission since I first wrote The Redemption. God knows.. I only have to answer to Him. I pray you and yours are blessed and filled with Holy Spirit Power and joy as we wait for the great appearing of our Lord, Jesus Christ! Hugs!

  3. Dear MaryLu,
I am a German blog reader. And I check out your blog several times a week. It encourages me so much. My husband and I, too have to face constant criticism for not wanting to be vaxxed and believing in the very soon rapture. I also wish a lot of of times not to know what we know.
Anyway, I just wanted to THANK YOU for your courage and sweet spirit that comes across in your writings.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon in the clouds ;-)

    1. Thank you so much, Anna! I really appreciate your comment. I often have no idea if I'm making an impact at all, yet the Lord prompts me to continue. I have another friend in Germany who is keeping me appraised of the situation there. It is as dire as it is here. Blessings to you and your husband from across the pond! Stay strong in Jesus. He's coming soon!

Israel is pushing for WW3, and Israel will become the new world power. Anti-Christ will rule the world from Jerusalem. The true Christians and Muslims will unite against Anti-Christ. Jesus will return, and Christians,Jews and Muslims will follow Jesus, and there will be one religion and one rule of law governing the world!

    Stay strong.

    1. Hi Johan! If the one world government you are talking about at the end is the one with Jesus ruling from Jerusalem in the millennial reign then yes! I agree and can't wait. I look forward to seeing many Jews and Muslims find the truth and give their lives to Jesus. WE live in exciting times. Thanks for your comment.

  6. Marylu I agree with everything that has been posted today and it just goes to show how really close we are to the end when even believers attack other believers. The enemy is getting worried knowing that his time is short. Hang tough you're doing what needs done in the time we have left

    1. Thank you so much! I certainly wasn't asking for all this support, but I so appreciate these kind comments. I agree. The enemy is getting anxious for his day to rule. I know many saints who are being attacked and are worn down these days. We all need to keep looking up to our Lord and Savior!

    2. You don't need to ask for support but as fellow Christians we certainly should be willing to give encouragement and stand with you. God bless you. In last post forgot to put name. Pam

  9. The attacks are real. I'm praying for you. My son is now avoiding me. But I won't lie to him and will continue to speak Scripture. On another note, my friend is in Barbados for med school. She just went a couple months ago, and now the volcano on the neighboring St. Vincent is about to erupt. The island is evacuating people to Barbados and hoping the ash won't land on them. But another sign of more to come.

    1. I've been praying for your son, Katy, ever since you mentioned him. Believe me I understand. My son has basically disowned. me. I heard about the volcano. My goodness.. I'm praying for everyone there to be safe. Yes, more to come.. and quakes too. It's all in the Bible. Praying you are doing well on your mission and reaching many!

  10. Hi Sweet Sister. I tell you, everything you said here, has been discussed in our house and with other close ones in Jesus. So true, wishing we didn't know so much at times. Those of us, who see prophecy unfolding aren't popular with those happy just living in the world. But one thing I do see, is there are many brothers and sisters forming all around the world that are coming to the same conclusions concerning Bible prophecy and are seeing Revelations unfolding and the Rapture imminent. I agree we are about down to the last grain falling through the hour glass. The labor is about over.. It's a heavy load to bear and only with the help of Jesus can we bear it. It separates us from so many as we see these truths unfold, as most just want to live a "normal" life in the world. It's painful and tiresome to see what is barreling down on humanity. We are so shell shocked and weary, knowing what's coming. AND so ready to go HOME to be with Jesus.
A Sister asked me yesterday, what do you think Heaven is like. I said, it's a place where God's light shines so bright, His beautiful love covers us completely, a joyful place of peace. No more tears and sorrow. No more pain and hate. A place where HIS family all dwell in truth, happiness and love one another the way we were meant too.
She smiled at me and said, your version, gives me PEACE. I am so ready for all of that Godly love and joy.
The thing I hang onto, is all of us coming together with these truths, don't know each other, didn't go to the same Churches, but have all read and believed in the WORD of GOD. We are all praying for HIS Truth and Jesus seems to be bringing us all together around the world. This gives me hope that we are on the right path. I pray our loved ones wake up before it's to late! God's love always a sister eternal in Jesus Cillie

    1. You are such a blessing, Cillie! Thank you. No, I would say I'm definitely not very popular these days. LOL. Friends and even author friends I've known are dropping away as if I have the "virus". So many are taking the "V" and saying it's God's will. I loved your description of Heaven... I can't wait! I read this morning in Ephesians that Peace has power in it! Wow. Thanks for your prayers, sweet lady. You know you have mine!

  11. I think we are all so weary, and many are struggling emotionally. I struggle with anxiety and depression, and am a widowed Mom. I know I can be a grouch on line, and have had to work hard to bite my tongue at times. But the venom and name calling that can be hurled from those claiming Christ can be breathtaking. And then they act justified, and carry on in their self righteousness, frequently bragging of the good they have done. But sadly, they are doing Satan’s work, by silencing anyone who disagrees with them. It has caused me to say less and listen more. I have already tried to wake up family. My own mother who I used to be close too, hasn’t spoken to me since 2017. These days I try to just keep my eyes on Jesus, and not spend too much time looking around. It’s the only way to have any peace. I focus on my son, and am tackling some projects around the house. I realize I am probably rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, but I also like to show my gratefulness for what God has provided by taking care of things. But I think focusing on what I can control, and not fretting over what I can’t is calming. I just give it to God in prayer. I can relate to much of what you have said. The spiritual warfare is off the charts.

    1. Cheryl, I'm so sorry, Sister, that you, too, are weary and under attack. I agree about "Christians" online. I've never seen such hatred. Jesus said you would know His followers by their love. I'm sorry about your Mom. That is so sad. I have a family member too not speaking to me.. but your Mom? I will pray for her and for your relationship to be restored. I loved your comment about "rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic". I feel that way many days.. just going through the motions of writing and chores and cooking and life. But the Lord says to occupy until He comes.. so we press on. Hugs and prayers!
