Everything, even the Wicked, are in God's Hands!

The Lord has made all for Himself, yes, even the wicked for the day of doom. Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished. Proverbs 16:4-5

Here's verse 4 n the Amplified.

The Lord has made everything to accommodate itself and contribute to its own end and His own purpose—even the wicked are fitted for their role for the day of calamity and evil

As we watch all the evil of this world growing stronger and stronger around us, it's easy to become overwhelmed, despondent, depressed, and even afraid. "Where are you, God?" we cry out, wondering if He has forgotten us, wondering if He is too busy with other things to see what's really going on. It's so hard to see evil winning (or seemingly winning) to see all the immorality, violence, lies, deceit, apostasy, abortions, child sacrifice and abuse, sex on TV and movies, Blasphemy, trans, gays, etc.. !  It's so hard to watch and wonder why God is allowing things to get so bad before He comes for us.

I've been reading through Proverbs and ran across the verses above and as I was chatting with the Lord about it, He reminded me of all the evil people in the Scripture He used for His own purposes.  I think of Pharaoh in Egypt, Haman, Many of the wicked Israelite kings, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Artaxerxes, Herold, Pilate, Nero of Rome, etc.  to name a few.  Each one persecuted the Children of God. Each one did evil things to many people. Yet, each one served a purpose that furthered the Kingdom of God.

It's so important to remember that the people in charge today, people in our government, people ruling other nations, the UN, the EU, Fauci, Gates, Zuckerberg, many in our own congress and the WH, the rich bankers, the global elites...I could go on.. it's important to remember that God put them all in power. God allowed it. Nothing happens on earth that God does not allow. No, God does not cause evil, but He does allow it to happen. Why? For His own purposes.

He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding! Daniel 2:21

And what is God's purpose? To save as many people from hell as He can. That's what the Tribulation will be all about. God will allow Satan his reign, but only so many many can be saved. In some cases, that's the only way some will ever get saved.

I guess in a way, this brought me comfort, to know that God is indeed in control of ALL things. He knows exactly what is going on and He allows it for a season. And while all of it is going on, He has His eye on you! He has not forgotten you, nor the struggles you are going through. Even down at your level, there is always a reason, a good purpose for the pain. As long as you love Him and follow Him, He promises it will all work out for good. (Romans 8:28)

So, don't be discouraged by all the evil you see around you and hear about. God is using these people for His own purposes, and there will be a day of reckoning. In the meantime, trust in Him and keep your eyes above. He is coming soon to rescue His own... those sheep who recognize His voice and follow Him. Are you one of His precious sheep?

But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings them out. When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.  John 10:2-4

  1. I had this dream or vision early this morning before I woke up, and I know it had something to do with my prayers before I went to bed. But it was this vision of people being delivered of demons that are keeping them blind and deaf to God's word. My vision was this darkness being lifted and people coming out of their homes in wonder and confusion and culminating in the streets together. It was so beautiful. So I have to agree, God is up to something and doesn't want anyone to go to hell. I read the wedding of Cana today and just saw so many great messages in it. Jesus at this wedding with his closest friends. Being given new wine at the end. The best wine for last. Perhaps that new wine will be poured out on his army getting ready to return to Earth to gather those souls finally free of these demonic spirits.

    1. That's a beautiful dream, Katy! Thanks for sharing it!! My prayer is that many many in these last days will come to know the Lord.. that the blinders of the enemy would be lifted and they would see the light! Make it happen, Lord!!

  2. This makes me wonder how we are to pray about what is going on in the world. I have always followed the "pray for your enemies" directive but this makes me rethink that. It also makes me wonder how fair, or unfair it is to those chosen to fulfil the evil plans if they didn't have a choice in the matter. I have always wondered about Judas for example. He served a purpose. I have often thought Judas might be saved because he HAD to betray Jesus to fulfil the plan otherwise it sure seems like bad luck that he was selected for the role. Thoughts?

    1. Lisa, you're getting into the age-old debate on predestination vs. Free will. This is how I look at it, which I think is Biblical. God is outside of time. Let's picture the history of earth and every person who will live is all in a book that God has before Him. He knows the beginning from the end. He can flip forward in time and even go see how the book ends. Therefore He knows which people will accept Him and which people will reject Him. We also know God is a God of love and justice. How could a God like that condemn someone to hell without giving them a chance to receive Him? That wouldn't be just. I believe everyone who ever lived was at one time given a chance to believe in God and receive salvation. God knew that Judas would not receive Him. So, knowing that in advance and also seeing the darkness of Judas's heart, God decided to use him to betray Jesus.
Yes, we are to pray for our enemies because we do not know whether they will accept Jesus or not. Only God knows that.
