Friday Musings: Are you Ready for the Matrix?

Dear Holy, Most-loved Saints,

This past week, I've run head first into the Metaverse. Not literally, of course, but through articles that passed over my desk. I'm really getting a very very dark sense about this virtual world... a very dark sense, so I felt it was important to bring it to everyone's attention.

Picture this scenario: (which is really most people's scenarios). You are an average looking person, not famous, not gorgeous, not important. You work a mundane job that you don't enjoy just to pay outrageous and growing bills and taxes. You grab slices of happiness here and there with family and friends, but let's face it, most of your life is dull and uneventful. Now, picture this: You can recreate your life. You can make yourself attractive, fit, healthy. You can enter a world where you are the hero, the princess, the king, whatever you want to be. You can live through adventures that are beyond anything you could ever experience in real life. You want to sky dive? You can sky dive. You want to go back in time and sail on a pirate ship, you can do that too! You want to be the queen of some country, yup, got you covered. You want to battle dragons and win, save the world, sail the seas, cruise through jungles, have a romance. Yup. And the best part, it really feels like you're there. All your senses are tuned in: touch, smell, hearing and sight.

Who wouldn't want that? This is the Metaverse. And it will soon be coming your way. This is a virtual reality world where you can be anyone you want and do anything you want.  Years ago, my son had a virtual reality headset that he wanted me to try. I put it on and instantly I was standing on a sunken ship deep in the ocean and a massive whale was swimming by me. I was amazed at how real it was! I truly felt like I was there. That was years ago. Now, they've added sensations to the VR world, so it not only looks like you're there, but you feel everything too.

What is the Metaverse?
 From wired.com
Broadly speaking, the technologies that make up the metaverse can include virtual reality—characterized by persistent virtual worlds that continue to exist even when you're not playing—as well as augmented reality that combines aspects of the digital and physical worlds. However, it doesn't require that those spaces be exclusively accessed via VR or AR. A virtual world, like aspects of Fortnite that can be accessed through PCs, game consoles, and even phones, could be metaversal.

It also translates to a digital economy, where users can create, buy, and sell goods. And, in the more idealistic visions of the metaverse, it's interoperable, allowing you to take virtual items like clothes or cars from one platform to another. In the real world, you can buy a shirt from the mall and then wear it to a movie theater. Right now, most platforms have virtual identities, avatars, and inventories that are tied to just one platform, but a metaverse might allow you to create a persona that you can take everywhere as easily as you can copy your profile picture from one social network to another.

From Guytech.com
The Metaverse is a virtual reality in which individuals can communicate and transact with each other and with digital 3D items.
It relates to collaborative virtual worlds where currency can be used to buy and sell land, buildings, avatars, and even identities.
Individuals can walk around with their friends, visit places, buy things, and attend events in such environments.
Musicians, for example, can perform virtual gigs, and fashion companies can create virtual apparel for people’s avatars to wear in metaverse surroundings.
It’s worth noting that Roblox, a popular children’s game, touts itself as a metaverse corporation.

MaryLu here:  So, you see the Metaverse isn't just a VR world for you, but everyone else will also be there too. So, you can interact with friends and family, buy and sell, go shopping, attend restaurants, etc. In essence, it is another world, a completely different world from this one, and a world in which your dreams can come true.

Imagine the lure for people! Imagine how people will be spending most of their time in this world! You just put on a VR suit and headset and flip the switch, and instantly you are in a better world.

The problem is, this is a world without God, a world God did not create, a world where self is elevated, pleasure is king, and sin will be rampant. It's a world where you can sin and not be held accountable. Why? Cause it's not real!  I'm starting to think that the metaverse will play a huge part in Satan's final kingdom, particularly as the technology increases and the two worlds become blended. Things you do in the Metaverse, things you buy, sins you commit, will translate to the real world, and people will be trapped in a matrix that will lead them straight to hell.

Interestingly enough, a few articles and videos crossed my desk this week about this very topic.  PLEASE watch the first 10-12 minutes of this video. It will shock you. Getting Right with Jesus.  The rest is good too, but there's a section in the first 10 minutes that is very unsettling.

Some other articles about Virtual reality

Update: Just today, I ran across this video on You Tube about the evils of Metaverse!

PLEASE be careful of this. Apparently this is the next step for Facebook, and I hear Microsoft is working on it too. Stay away from any virtual reality this world offers and live in the glorious eternal reality of the King of Kings, Jesus!

Now, for the rest of the news:  Please browse the articles below. Of note is that Life Insurance companies are reporting huge increases in deaths. My guess is that these are vaccine deaths.

Good news

The V and V
Pfizer and BioNTech are seeking emergency authorization for covid vaccine for kids younger than 5.  If they get it, you cannot sue them if your child dies or is harmed.

War

Persecution
This is from the ACLJ
EVERY DAY, 16 Christians are killed for their faith across the globe. In Nigeria, Christian pastors are beheaded. In India, Christians are jailed and discriminated against. In Pakistan, our affiliate on the ground is representing Christians on death row for their faith.

But just as we warned you, this new report shows that Afghanistan has become the number one worst place on earth for Christians. The persecution is unbearable.

The Taliban is going door to door looking for Christians to kill and unmarried women to take captive. Christians are hiding in their homes fearing what the Taliban will do to them – a genocidal persecution.

Our contact on the ground in Afghanistan reports that "men, women and children are subjugated, beaten, and executed for their beliefs that differ from the tyrannical Taliban."

  2. Thanks, MaryLu! I caught a bit of the DoD whistleblower session where the senator discussed the coverup of all the deaths and illness these shots have caused...and these are only the ones in the military. It's horrific that they are still being mandated. Makes me sick.

    1. Makes me sick too. Here in CA we are seeing children as young as 5 getting the shot and ALL government workers. They are depleting our military... it's all planned.

  3. Hey MaryLu, Yea, this is a much needed warning on this VR stuff. I have always been uncomfortable with it. You can feel the evil in it. Even just watching the video made me uncomfortable. I have a friend who is a robotics engineer, and he had a type of this device his teenage kids were using. He tried to get me to try it but I would not. I have always been leary even of computers! And even cell phones can be a burden though I like the fact my wife and kids can keep in contact with me, if I remember to carry it,lol. But even TV can be be like this on a lower level. I remember when cable TV first came out, my Dad was dead set against it, more from a money point of view. But he said one day everyone would be hooked on it, and well, here we are. Yet TV was more of an entertainment device back then. We would sit around the TV on Sunday nights and watch Ed Sullivan, or Bonanza, my Dad loved. But I can remember a commercial for bra's came on one time, and Dad jumping out of his chair to shut the TV off ! lol, no remotes back then. I think Trump and most politicians and the rich and famous are literally living in a VR world that they have created through their wealth and power. Surrounding themselves with "yes men" keep them from reality ! Blessings Sister

    1. I remember the family sitting around the black and white watching family shows. Those were fun times... but things have changed. I laughed at your comment on the bra commercial. They were not even on live women... but it was horrible and embarrassing back then. Now, look at it. Nothing on TV is worth watching now.. at least very few shows. Hubby and I end up turning most of it off. And now we have this VR stuff For kids addicted to video games.. its an easy transition.. highly addictive!! Another trap by Satan. And so many will fall for it. We need to keep in prayer!
