The devil is God's devil!

Yes, the devil is God's devil. Sounds almost blasphemous, but this is what I mean.  Satan may be the god of this world, but he has very limited powers. He is a created being and even before God created him, he knew what he would do. God knew his beginning and he knows his end. Hence, satan is God's servant, a rebellious servant, but a servant nonetheless. Yes, he is running amuck here on earth, doing his best to destroy mankind and drag as many people to hell as he can, all while also trying to destroy the entire planet and all of God's creation. But there is nothing he does or plans to do that God doesn't already know about.  Then why did God create him? Here's a post I wrote about that which might help explain.

What I'm trying to say is, Satan has no power over a true follower of Jesus. None. If you are walking in the light and doing your best to follow Jesus, Satan cannot touch you. Remember Job? Satan had to get permission from God to do anything to Job. He couldn't touch him without God's permission. This is what the Cross did for us. Jesus's sacrificial death and resurrection not only paid the price for our sins so we could spend eternity with Him, but it made us righteous children of God here on earth until we die.  And as His Children, we have special privileges.. or should I say promises that we cling to. Provision, Protection, Love, Guidance, and Purpose to name a few. So, as we see the evil rising around us, we cling to those promises to keep us safe. Remember Jesus emphatically said that "the gates of hell would not prevail against the church"! (Matthew 16:18)

I copied this list of Scriptures from Amir Tsarfati's telegram. i encourage you to take time to look each one up and recite it outloud.

CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT BE WORRIED!
Mathew 6:25-27
Colossians 3:15
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Matthew 11:28-30
Luke 12:25
John 14:27
Psalm 55:22
Proverbs 12:25
1 Peter 5:7
Philippians 4:6-7
Hebrews 12:1-2

However the main point of this post is to emphasize that satan can't even start the tribulation without God's permission. As long as the restrainer is here on earth (that's us!), Satan cannot push forward his Great Reset, Mark of the Beast, or New World Order. We see these things on the horizon, but they are not here yet. We see famine on the horizon, but it is not here yet. If it hits or if war starts and we still find ourselves here, then God will protect His own! He will feed us, take care of us, and protect us as long as we stick with Him. No matter what we see, God is with us and the Tribulation has not started.

There are many rapture dates flying around out there now and I know how easy it is to get caught up in them and pin all your hopes on a certain date. (I've been doing that for 5 years!) But I've come to understand recently that, although we will know the season, we will not know the exact date. Why? Because Satan would then know. If satan knew the exact date of the rapture, he will order all his evil troops on that day to attack every person who would be going to get them to turn from God. He would unleash every demon in hell to keep people from hearing the gospel. He would try and murder as many as he could before they had a chance to repent and turn to the Lord. Remember, Jesus said He comes as a thief.

But understand this: If the head of the house had known what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.  Matthew 24:43

So, if someone is giving you a set date for the rapture, most likely that is NOT the date.

Since God is in charge of the devil, God is also in charge of when the Tribulation starts and He is also able to delay the enemy's plans for a time in order to give people more time to turn to Him. I know we all want to leave, but think about the billions that will be left behind. Think of the horrors they will endure. Many will be killed right off the bat when nuclear war happens. They won't even know what hit them when they find themselves in hell. There are so many young people today who have never really heard the true Gospel (yes, even here in America).

Lately, I'm sensing God's sorrow for the lost. Just think if it was your child. In fact, some of you (myself included) have children who are not saved. Would you be willing to stay here on earth another month if it meant they would get saved? Of course! (I would stay a lifetime for that!)  Now, magnify that by billions of children whom God loves.

I guess what I'm saying is, don't be alarmed if the Lord holds back the Tribulation for a time and sends a quick and powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit in order to pull in as many as He can. In fact, join me in praying for that!  And yes, I'm hearing that God may do this. Ask Him to use you in a powerful way in the time we have remaining here to help bring in this final harvest!  What could be more important.

So, don't be afraid of what's coming on this earth. God's judgement will fall, and we may see some of it, but be about your Father's business. He will take care of you. He promises! And pray for the lost. Pray for a huge harvest, and get out there in the fields and help!  I still believe we are almost out of here. Time is short!

I have been praying for many prodigals and non- believers. I too am willing to wait if it means they get saved!

  2. Amen MaryLu. I think the exact time and date are unimportant for true children of God. In part thanks to yours post's reminding us that time is near for the appearing of our Savior. Thanks MaryLu that I can always count on you to refill my lamp. Peace

  3. That's interesting about satan not knowing the exact date of the rapture and the reasoning behind it. In a recent study of Genesis, I read that satan also didn't know which one of the twelve sons of Jacob the Messiah would be born through and because Joseph was the "favored" son, satan tried to destroy him, but it was actually Judah who would be chosen son.
How perfectly Romans 11:33 describes our AMAZING GOD - "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!"

    1. I didn't know that about Joseph, but it makes sense. There is a lot our enemy doesn't know. He didn't realize that Jesus's sacrifice on the cross would absolve us of our sins.. not until He resurrected! Satan thought he had won. So, I can see why God hides a ton of stuff from him... he is ignorant. Amen about our Amazing God!
