The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.
The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Psalm 29:10-11
I'm reminded of Noah's flood in Genesis. The world had become so wicked, so perverse that Scripture says the thoughts and intents of every person were completely evil all the time. It was also a time when fallen angels roamed the earth and mated with human women, producing hybrids called the Nephilim. These hybrids grew so large they began to eat humans to fill their bellies. People worshiped idols and demons and offered their children to the fire. There was rampant immorality and homosexuality and great violence. God was greatly grieved that He had made mankind. So, he sent a flood to destroy every living thing on earth, all except one pure-blooded man and his family. Only Noah's blood contained no Fallen Angel DNA. Only Noah was considered righteous before God.
Jesus said in Matthew 24 that the days right before the rapture would be just like "the Days of Noah". Are we seeing the very same evil that Noah saw? I believe that our days now are far worse than in Noah's day. And yes, for those who are new to this blog, there are Nephilim here as well, only disguised as normal human beings.
So, yes, we see a flood coming. It is described in the Bible as the Tribulation. Instead of water, this time will be so horrible, so demonic, and violent that if Jesus didn't return when He will, NO flesh would remain alive. But we clearly see in Scripture that Jesus is enthroned over the Flood. He is a mighty king who sits above the raging of the sea and can still the waters with a whisper! As we see the flood approaching, it's important to know this and believe it. There are many things coming that we cannot control, but God is ultimately in complete control and He promises to give us strength and peace during the storm! Do you believe that? It's right there in the Bible, and God is not a liar.
Interesting to note that the flood began on the 17th day of the 2nd month, according to Genesis. Noah and his family entered the ark and God shut the door. Now, I'm NOT setting dates but the 17th day of the 2nd month happens to fall on November 11th this year. The month is Cheshvan. Currently, it is the 8th month of the current Jewish Calendar but back in Noah's day, it was the 2nd month. The months were switched around by God during Moses' time. (Exodus 12) I find it also interesting that the number 11 represents Chaos in the Bible. Was Jesus giving us a hint to when the 2nd Flood (or Tribulation) would start when He said "It will be as it was in the days of Noah"? Guess we'll find out soon enough.
The main point of this post is to encourage you that Jesus is on the throne, He knows what He is doing, He knows what is coming, and He has you and your loved ones in the palm of His hand!! Rest in that.
Hey MaryLu, Thank you the encouragement ! That script in Matt has always intrigued me. I have quoted it often. I will say I went to a dear friends 60th Bday this weekend and there were 2 different families there that both had 2 gay sons each.The parents Step Dad was there and spoke right up stating that the bible say's it wrong ! I thought a war was going to irrupt. Later that evening I looked for a movie to watch. About and hour into the movie there was an imoral gesture with two men. I stopped the movie and put on another and there was a gesture by 2 women !!! So I found a good old western ! But I was leterally surounded by lbgtq this weekend ! You know when at the begining of a movie where they put the ratings, ya know, language, violence etc. They ought to add lbgtq to that header as a warning !
ReplyDeleteKeep the faith Marylu. Hope to see ya in the sky !
Yes, this perverted agenda is everywhere. Almost every TV show has a token gay person now. Makes me sick. We just turn it off. They should definitely have an LBGTQ rating!! See you in the clouds!
