The Great Awakening, Christ Consciousness, and a Deception that leads to Hell

First of all, I encourage you to read this article all the way to the end. Some of it may upset you, some may shock you, but if you consider yourself an American Patriot, you really do need to read this. Your very soul may be at stake.

Let me start out by saying something that may shock you. God doesn't care about America.  Yes, He has blessed us as a nation because we were founded on Godly principals AND because there have been many believers here. But it has nothing to do with the United States. In fact, as I've mentioned before, our country's leadership has been very evil for a very long time. The truth is, God doesn't care about any nation. He has no interest in Russia or China or England or Spain or any of the African nations. God's number one concern is HIS CHILDREN.  And His Children are scattered throughout ALL the nations. (Yes, He has a covenant with Israel and He will restore them in the Millennial reign, but He mentions no other nation. Jesus is not a nationalist)

Let me ask you a few questions.

When Jesus was walking the Earth, was He at all concerned with the politics or government of Israel? What about Rome, since they ruled over Israel at the time? Was He interested in battling Rome and taking back Israel as a nation? What did He say when the Pharisees asked Him if the Jews should pay taxes to evil Rome?

Tell us then, what do You think? Is it permissible according to Jewish law and tradition to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?”  But Jesus, aware of their malice, asked, “Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites?  Show me the coin used for the poll-tax.” And they brought Him a denarius. And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They said, “The Emperor Tiberius Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s. Matthew 22:17-21

Did Jesus ever encourage any of His followers to rise up against Rome? How about protesting the current puppet government in Israel? Did He ask them to get involved in politics at all? What about after He rose and ascended to Heaven? Did Paul or any of the other disciples attempt to organize the people to revolt against Rome and take back Israel from their grip? Did Paul even ever talk about that? No, all he ever said in regard to government was to pray for our leaders and obey their laws if they don't go against God's Word. I will add vote to that list for those of us here in America. (Not that it matters anymore)

No, the ONLY INTEREST of the Church after Jesus left was to make disciples of all nations as Jesus had instructed them to do. Never once in Scripture does it say that any one particular nation will rise up and do God's work of spreading the Gospel and taking over the world for Jesus.

Then why is there a HUGE movement going on now here in America that says that God will cause a Great Revival in this nation, bless it, and enable it to rise up and conquer the world for Jesus?  Those who follow me regularly know I've mentioned this before, but the Lord keeps pressing upon me to bring it forward again and again. Why? MANY of His people are caught in this Great Deception.

This movement is called Kingdom Now or New Apostolic Reformation and a host of other names. It is an offshoot of the Charismatic movement or the Latter Rain movement. And it is Deeply connected with politics. Another name you might have heard is Christian Nationalism. In fact, some of the people I listen to for truth about the vaccine and war and other things going on in the world are also connected with this false doctrine. When one of them, who I thought was a Christian, recently mentioned Christ Consciousness, my alarm bells went off.

Here is just one definition I found, but I encourage you to do a search on your own. This term is tied in with New Age mysticism and has nothing to do with Jesus

Christ Consciousness is the state of awareness of our true nature, our higher self, and our birthright as children of God.  Christ Consciousness is our living expression as children of Spirit, revealing and sharing our own divine life plans to manifest upon the earth plane--building heaven to earth.  Living in the reality of our “Christed” self is actually being fully alive and invested in who we truly are.  In our “Christed” self we live as inspiration for others to seek this for themselves so we can collectively move our planet forward into the divine plan for planetary transformation and glorification.

A VERY DANGEROUS DECEPTION

Before I list the false doctrines of this movement, I want to point out what I think is the most dangerous of those ideas. Some of these NAR teachers are teaching that everything in the Book of Revelation and most everything that Jesus said about the future has already happened. In other words, the End Times described in the Bible already occurred in the first century.  Therefore, there is no rapture of the Church. They believe we do meet Jesus in the air, but that's after the church has conquered the world for Him.  I've not honestly listened to these false teachers very much, but I hear this from a family member who is heavily involved in NAR.

Now here's where the extreme danger comes in.

If you believe there is no rapture and the church will take over the world and then Jesus returns, how easy will it be for you to believe that the AntiChrist is Jesus!  In fact, the Antichrist will claim to be God, right? And He will come and bring peace to the world, unite all nations, and preform signs and wonders. I really want you to think about that and ponder the implications. Then, to make matters even more deceptive, what if most mainline Christian church pastors actually told you that the AC is actually Jesus returning to Earth. What if those pastors, prophets, and apostles telling you that, were actually men and women of God whom you trusted, who you have followed for years, people who did their own signs and wonders. (I will venture to say that any pastor who pushed the C-Vaccine will also push the Mark of the Beast)

Do you see where I'm heading with this? Aside from the Alien invasion, I think this is one of the worst and most insidious deceptions that can fall upon decent God-fearing Christians.  I know MANY Christians who have fallen for this, friends, Bible-study leaders, authors, editors. Honestly, I continue to be shocked when I run across another one.  How clever of our enemy!!

So, if you find yourself listening to these NAR prophets and pastors, please please beware! If you find yourself believing America will go through a revival and turn back to God, you're deceiving yourself. We are Babylon. The American church has been taken over by Free Masons. I see no repentance at all and certainly no corporate church repentance.

Now let me get into a few of the false doctrines of this movement: Remember, the devil likes to use Biblical truth in his deception, which is normally something like 70% Biblical truth and 30% lies. Only if you know your Bible well and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you can you spot the errors.

1. There are New Apostles being restored and sent out in these last days.  These apostles have power over the church, receive special extra-Biblical revelations and perform signs and wonders.

Problem: The problem with this is that the role of an Apostle in the New Testament was to go out and start new churches. In addition, it was a specific job that seems, from Scripture, to be only give to men who had been eye-witnesses to the Lord's resurrection. Perhaps there are Apostles today? But I venture to say that missionary would be a better title. Beware of anyone who appoints himself an apostle.

Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus was living among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.” – Acts 1:21-22

2. Prophets

Problem: While I believe in the role of a prophet, it is more often used in the New Testament Scripture as one who expounds on the Word of God, instead of one who predicts the future. Yes, there are a few Godly men to whom God reveals the future, but it is rare these days. We, as believers, have the Holy Spirit within us and really have no need for a prophet to tell us what the Lord says.

3. Dominionism - put simply, this is a theology that says the role of the church is to Bring the Kingdom of God to Earth. We are supposed to push back the kingdom of Satan and restore the earth to God's Kingdom, and then Jesus will return. Here is a quote from Peter Wagner, one of the founders of this false movement:

"The way to achieve dominion is not to become “America’s Taliban,” but rather to have kingdom-minded people in every one of the Seven Mountains: Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment, and Business so that they can use their influence to create an environment in which the blessings and prosperity of the Kingdom of God can permeate all areas of society."

Problem: Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world. He also said that our assignment while here is to make disciples, to share the Gospel, to save the lost, not take over the world.  While that would be nice, it simply is not within our power. Jesus will handle that when He returns. You run into more problems Scriptural with this doctrine in the Biblical descriptions of how the world will look before Jesus returns.  Wars, Famines, Pestilences, Immorality, Homosexuality, Violence, the character of man, etc. If the church is supposed to take over the world before Jesus comes, then it doesn't look like we are doing a good job. Like I said above, God doesn't care about nations. He cares about people. Let him deal with the world and their leaders when He returns.

 4. Extra Biblical Revelation - NAR prophets and Apostles decree that their words are added revelation to Scripture, though they must be in agreement with Scripture. However, that is often not the case

Problem: The Canon of Scripture is complete. A Christian needs nothing more than the Bible and the Holy Spirit to hear from God. Listen to what the Lord says in Revelation:

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll." – Revelation 22:18-19

5. Signs and Wonders
There seems to be a great emphasis on miracles in NAR

Problem: While I believe in the Gifts of the Spirit and miracles and signs and wonders, I do not believe they encompass the bulk of Christianity. They are merely a product of Christians walking in the light of Jesus Christ and should be a part of everyday life. Elevating them to the point of making Christianity a "feel good", experiential religion is a huge draw to people who want to be entertained, while in practice, the Christian walk is a day to day difficult journey of dying to self and living for Christ.

6. Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare
This is a NAR strategy of casting out "territorial spirits" over certain geographic regions. These evil spirits must be defanged and removed for the Gospel of the Kingdom to advance.  Some of these procedures are as follows:

Spirit Mapping - research into a specific area to determine what strongholds
Prayer Walking - team of people walking through the neighborhood praying against territorial spirits
Identification Repentence - repenting of corporate sins which have polluted the land

Problem: Do you see any of these in Scripture? Did Paul or Peter engage in these activities or instruct Christians to do them? While I'm a huge advocate for Spiritual Warfare, I follow what I see in the Bible. This came to my attention when a family member said they were Spirit Mapping over her city. I had no idea what that was. Don't get me wrong, I'm also not against prayer walking, but this is what I do when I prayer walk. I pray for each family I pass to come to know Jesus and I cancel all of Satan's plans for them. Nowhere in Scripture does it say we are to label and cast down Territorial Spirits in High places. Even Daniel didn't do that. He relied on the archangel Michael to battle those spirits. Unless the Lord leads you to do so, let God take care of the territorial spirits.
Notice in the warfare Scripture below, Paul is talking about strongholds in the mind, thoughts and imaginings.. not high ranking fallen angels.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:4-5

7. Great End Time transfer of wealth from the world to the NAR Apostles And Great End Time Revival

Problem: Not in Scripture. No need to say anything else. We are told there will be a great falling away from the true Gospel, which is what we are seeing now.

Some leaders of the movement
This is not an exhaustive list, and I cannot vouch for each one, but just be aware

One of the leaders I've heard friends of mine mention is Dutch Sheets. Here's what I found on him.

William “Dutch” Sheets is a leading figure in a fundamentalist movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation, whose followers believe America is anointed by God to convert the world to Christianity — by force if necessary — and they seek to accelerate Jesus’ return and rule over the Earth.

If you go to his website, he seems to be selling a lot of things, books, t-shirts, etc. His prophetic word is America will be Saved. Hmm
Here's a few other people and organizations that I found are involved.

Bethel Church
Bill Johnson's International House of Prayer
Cindy Jacobs
Mike Bickle
Bill Hamon
John Eckhardt
Peter Wagner

Here's Site where you can search by name. It also contains a long list of false prophets
Another site listing a few teachers to be aware of

Please look at their Great Awakening Map and scroll down to their Ascension 5D Map toward the bottom. If you can't spot the New Age Ideas and Philosophies, you need to get back into your Bible.

I will leave you with verses from Jeremiah 23, which flew off the page at me as I read them last week. Notice the underlined part. These are Scriptures for our time now!

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
(v 16-17)

The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. (v 20-22)

  1. Thank you Marylu for the detailed information. Wake up people and listen to what God has to say not to what man has to say. The evil is what is rising not revival. We are truly living in the world described in Revelation if you read nothing else at least read that. The best thing is to read the whole Bible and see God's plan coming to life but if not at least realize what is happening now and where we are in the time-line. Pam

  2. I agree. I hear people proclaim the great revival but if we are in days like Noah I don’t see that happening.

  3. That needed to be said and thank you Jesus there are still people willing to brave the push back to say it. May God bless you Marylu as you continue to speak truth.

    1. Believe me, I don't make many friends proclaiming the truth. In fact, I've lost quite a few. I'm thinking the enemy didn't want this post to come out cause he hit me with a bad flu the past few days. :-(

  4. Thank you Marylu. People really need to get into God's Word, to me the only truth out there. They certainly need a lot of discernment. The way to get that thru prayer and the reading of God's Word.

    1. Absolutely!! But I don't think many Christians actually read and study their Bible!

  5. Wow wow wow MaryLu, you hit the nail on the head with this one. First let me start with a prayer for you flu. Father in heaven, we pray for your love and healing to pass over our precious Sister and restore her to good health. We ask in the name of the Great Physician, our Lord and Jesus Christ.
I know the feeling MaryLu of being un-friended by trying to warn people about all the false preaching out there today. And really there always has been these wolves in sheeps clothing. Jesus warned us. People dont want to be distrbed with their happy lifes here and now. That is why they dont accept the rapture.
I wish I could figure out how and where to post this ? Any hints? This needs to get out !
I will tell you MaryLu, that there is hardly a paragraph here or one of the scriptures you bring out here that hasnt crossed my path this week, either in something I read, or wrote, and had conversations about !!!
I regards to the 70-30% truth to lies is spot on. I always said of my ex pastor, he preaches an hour nad 15 minutes of a great word, but blows it all in the last 15 minutes with one of these rediculous false statements that you mention here.
Thank you MaryLu for all the info. Now I know I am not crazy. That these strange cult like preachers are really out there ! And I have called out a few on the list. Many of whom my family listen to ! Yikes.
Lord I pray that you would open the eye's of our families Lord to these wolves. I pray in Jesus for a spirit of discernment over my family, and your church Lord.
May the Good Lord bless your due diligence MaryLu.

  6. We used to go to a church where the pastor brought in this man who called himself an “apostle”. He was “Apostle Mac”(not his real name). He would line people up in front of the church and walk in front of them and tell them things like: “ you’re looking for a new car, but don’t buy the one you’re looking at, buy the one beside it”… Just weird stuff like that, and I always had a negative feeling about him! Thank you Jesus for discernment!
Thank you for explaining all of this once again, and using scripture, it helps me understand the things that are going on.
Remember tomorrow-November 8-is the full blood moon and lunar eclipse!
    Blessings!

  7. I agree with just about everything you said, MaryLu! Except about God healing & restoring the US. He could but I don't see many people repenting. He did say, "If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." But there are conditions to be met that I don't see being met or ppl turning from their wicked ways! Thank you for all your research & shedding light on false prophets. Most of them prophesied that Trump would serve 2 CONSECUTIVE terms. But that didn't happen. He may serve another term after Biden, but unless a miracle happens he isn't going to finish out THIS term as president. So that doesn't qualify as consecutive terms as so many prophesied! We'll see, I could be wrong. I have been a couple of times in my life. 😉

    2. Hi Diane! So great to hear from you!! Ah, yes, I agree about God restoring the US. He's God and can do what He wants. :-) But like you said... conditions have to be met. And it needs to start in the House of the Lord, with God's people.... but with the American church falling into apostasy.. I just don't see it. You're right... about them prophesying that Trump would serve 2 terms.. I had forgotten about that. You would think that alone would make people realize these are false prophets. Anyway, such a pleasure to hear from you. I hope you are well.. and not dizzy.

  9. The number of distractions there are now is mind-numbing. Everywhere I look there is someone selling something, prophesying something, promising something, etc. I just want to hide under my covers and wait for the rapture. God whispers, "Stay in your lane." So that's what I try to do. I was reading in Ezekiel today, and he mentions the responsibility of a watchman. I would say you have followed God's command to warn very well. That's all you can do.

  10. MaryLu....This is so very, very, very disturbing! You were able, in just a few short paragraphs, to shine the light on this terrible, evil deception in the church and embraced by so many outside of the church in the New Age Christ conciousness philosophy of spiritual ascension and oneness with "spirit, or creator" who have rejected truth of who Jesus is and truth of the Bible. So many people believe their philosophy because they are exposing the evil that does exist but then swallow the lies that go with it straight from the pit of Hell, relative to "who they are," their quest for higher self spiritually, etc.
I am so disturbed looking at the map at the end of your blog as it explains everything my husband believes. It is sickening the detail and deception! A close family member is also involved in the Kingdom Now, revival coming to U.S., and so distorts scripture to prove her beliefs. She and hubby are heavily involved in the groups you name and trying to get everyone they know into "learning" how to be a prophet and do signs and wonders to bring in the Kingdom Now, and even believe in the "feathers" falling from angels and gold dust found on people during retreats. It is so evil, I so literally almost want to throw up! When I try to share prophecy (I've studied it for over 40 years, and I mean study, going back and forth through Daniel, Revelation, Mathew, Ezekiel, Joel, etc.) relative to end times and wrath to come, I am just amazed that I can not get through to them that Daniel's 70th week has not been fulfilled yet and we are at the very door of its beginning. It is so hard, because they truly love The Lord, but they are so deceived by this Kingdom Now philosophy. My main concern is for my husband who is "steeped" in this new age great awakening stuff and it is truly scary! I pray all the time for protection, and for his eyes to be opened, and the deceptive veil removed. All I know to do is to say a word here and there as The Lord directs, pray, and stay true to scripture and my obedience.
As I read through my daily readings which include old testament daily, I am now in Ezekiel, having just finished Jeremiah and, like you, so many of the verses jump off the page as to where we are today relative to judgement coming. It is going to be HORRENDOUS! We haven't seen anything yet!
You are so right to post these latest warnings, shining the light on true meaning of this false "Great Awakening." So many people still believe in this false narrative of Q and Revival to save America and you pointed out the lies of this movement perfectly through the scriptures you used! My prayer is that many will read this blog, and have their eyes opened. Please God! God help us to stay strong in our faith, in the light of His word, rightly dividing it and with strength of Holy Spirit in us to stand and expose the lies. Hang in there sister, you are doing an amazing work for the Lord!
Much love and praying for you all the time!
    Susan

    1. I'm so sorry, Susan. Believe me, I can relate. I have very close relatives heavily involved in this and they refuse to listen. It breaks my heart. Like you said, it's so deceptive because the movement is exposing evil... quoting Scripture... like Q, but then right beneath the surface, it is all Satanic New Age. Christians love the "new, exciting experience" of signs and wonders, running to and fro to hear the latest teaching, but they've lost their first love and they don't know the Bible at all. It's heartbreaking to watch because they do seem to love the Lord at some level. The Lord warned us about great deception in these last days, and He wasn't kidding! Feel free to send this to any of your family and friends. Let them hate on me... I can take it. :-) By the way, I've had your hubby on my prayer list for some time. Will keep on it.
