Dear Long-Suffering, Wise Bride of Christ, Now when the time was almost come for Jesus to be received up to heaven, He steadfastly and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem.
And He sent messengers before Him; and they reached and entered a Samaritan village to make things ready for Him;
But the people would not welcome or receive or accept Him, because His face was set as if He was going to Jerusalem. Luke 9:51-53
"Set your face like flint." That's what I heard the Lord say to me on my prayer walk yesterday. It brought to mind this story about Jesus in Luke 9. It was time for Him to end His ministry and go to Jerusalem where He KNEW He'd be brutally tortured, rejected, abandoned, and die the most horrific death of all time. Facing that, I think I'd run in the other direction! But our King set His face toward Jerusalem. Nothing deterred Him. No one, no group, no other purpose, and no devil in hell was going to stop Him from finishing the work His Father had given Him.
You see, I was pondering all the evil in the world and asking the Lord when He would return, and that's what I heard. "Set your face like flint". Jesus set His face toward the earthly Jerusalem, but we are setting our face toward a heavenly one. Jesus set His face for a torturous death, while we are setting our face toward such joy, peace, and bliss that we possibly can't even imagine it. Think about that. He set His face toward nothing but horror and pain SO THAT we could set our face toward an eternity with Him. What an amazing God we serve!
Remember, Jesus did this right at the end of His Ministry, so I believe He was telling me and all the saints that we are nearing the end of ours here on Earth. So, what does set our face like flint mean? It means keep your thoughts and desires on Jesus and on being with Him in Heaven. Let NOTHING distract you from your journey, not family, friends, earthly pleasures, entertainment, insults, persecutions, attacks, or anything else. This is the last stretch of the race and the hardest most difficult part. This is where you will feel more weary than you ever have. This is the time when the devil will stir up family and friends to attack you. This is the time when temptations will rise all around, when you will feel discouraged, frustrated, and lonely. This is the time you have to be stronger than you've ever been. But I have good news!
So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength). 2 Corinthians 12:10
Jesus is your strength! But you must lean on HIM. He will not force you to lean on Him. You must do it in faith.
This week's prophetic news centered around a few major events that I mentioned last week but that are continuing to unfold.
War. There is much chatter about a Nuclear Power plant in Ukraine that is now in Russian territory. Over the past week, there have been some signs that "someone" plans to attack the power plant. People surrounding the plant have been evacuated and the power has been cut off. Why? Both sides are saying the other side is the one planning on attacking.
Ukraine says Russia has placed objects that appear to be explosives in the
third and fourth production units of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power
plant. On the other hand, unofficial Russian media claim: the Ukrainian
army plans to attack the station tomorrow evening with missiles and
drones. So, Russia says Ukraine is gonna bomb it, and Ukraine says Russia is gonna bomb it Thing is, both agree it's going to be bombed.
In addition, our Air Force sent its Boeing WC-135R Constant Phoenix aircraft to Greece on June 30. The aircraft, which can register radioactive releases in real time, played a crucial role in detecting debris from the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear meltdowns. Also US Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal introduced a bipartisan resolution that warned a Russian radiological attack could trigger a wider North Atlantic Treaty Organization involvement in the conflict.
“You can expect a massive response from NATO,” Graham said in a statement. “You will be at war with NATO.”
In case you didn't know Lindsay Graham is a stooge of the military industrial complex and a war monger. Don't trust him.
It's almost like they want war. Hmm. So if this plant is attacked and any radiation blows into NATO countries, they have the right to declare war on Russia. Could this be the start of WW3? We wait and see. And pray!
The NWO: We have this BRICS meeting coming up in August. It is rumored they plan on adding 5 nations to their group (making it a 10 Nation league) and they are also planning on implementing a new Global currency to replace the dollar. These are amazing developments prophetically, for those of you who know your Bible.

So, it appears, the Globalists are working very hard to create their final World Kingdom, along with implementing their digital currency. It's exciting to watch and see God's Word come to life!
Meanwhile, young, healthy people are still dying from the Vaccine. I read an article this week that said two thirds of the vaccines were placebos and the rest deadly. So, that explains why some who took them suffered no ill effects.
A new Hate speech bill in Michigan will give jail time to anyone who makes anyone else feel "threatened". In other words, you won't be able to speak out against sin and immorality.
They are still pushing their UFO agenda, France is still in flames, and Israel faces more threats and violence than ever before. You can browse the news below.
And the majority of the church is either asleep or believe the world will have a great revival.
Speaking of the Great Awakening, I hope you've had a chance to read my Monday post Warning. Along those lines, I'm listing a few victories we've had here in America recently. These things are all great! And I praise God for them. But when more and more "good" things happen, please don't be deceived into believing in the Great Revival/Awakening. It is all part of their plan.

ReplyDeleteI am a confirmed Flint Facer. Once the Lord has shown me something, enlightened me with His Word and visions I locked onto it like a pitbull. Last week I mentioned a little about "compromise". I will not compromise what God has given me to the "compromising church" ! We read in Luke 22:42 Father is you are willing to take this cup from me, yet not my will but your will be done...... Then it goes on to say, he prayed more earnestly, in anguish till drops of blood hit the ground. Now that is setting your face as flint. I have set my face as flint many times in my life and God has always pulled me through, Praise be to His glory !
You mention friends and family turn on us, and we can feel at times discouraged frustrated and lonely. I do feel like this at time, especially the lonely. But this is just the time to set our face as flint ! And those around us say we are just stubborn, no we are just focused on God for His word is truth !

That clip on Covenant of Many, made your point very clear about how this ties into the tribulation, which most Christians do not believe in. I came across this quote, one of many from the Hollywood believers; Seth MacFarlane told Steppin’ Out magazine in 2007 that “I do not believe in God. I'm an atheist. I consider myself a critical thinker, and it fascinates me that in the 21st century most people still believe in, as George Carlin puts it, 'the invisible man living in the sky.'
It fascinates me that it fascinates Seth that " in the 21st Century most people still believe"..... Well Seth, if you think yourself a "critical thinker", think again. I'm not sure your belief that "most people" believe. I think the road is narrow Seth, but for you the road is wide !

It takes more faith to believe there is no creator than to know there is one... but these atheists love their sin and what they think is freedom to do what they want. We press forward. We refuse to compromise. By the grace, strength and mercy of God, we are the remnant... a small troop, but one who can, by faith, walk through any walls the enemy erects in our path. God is with us!
