This Is Not Reality!

 My husband is a Scientist with a PhD in Chemical Physics. Sometimes when he starts in on Scientific stuff, my head spins and my thoughts drift away to something more understandable. 😏  However, I have learned a few things from him and one of those is String Theory. In this theory Scientists believe there are  extra dimensions besides our three which are Length, Height, and Width and Time.  They believe there could be as many as 11 dimensions in all.  So, because we exist within only 3 dimensions, we cannot see what is in the other 8 around us. The best example I can give is to think of what it would be like if we only lived in 2 dimensions. We would be flat people like a picture or photograph is flat. We could only see to the side of us and up or down, but if something were standing in another dimension, say, the width one, right in front of us, we couldn't see it at all. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the Spirit Realm spoken of throughout the Bible is in one of the other dimensions outside our own. That is why there could be an angel standing right next to you or even Jesus Himself and you would not be able to see them. Knowing this made me realize that truly the Lord and His angels are not far away from us at all! 

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18 

A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

Some scientists also believe that the universe is digital. What does that mean? This has to do with Quantum Physics and is way beyond me, but we do have something similar that could be an example. Think Video Games and Virtual Reality.  When we play a video game or enter a virtual reality, we are entering a digital world.  There is no real consensus among Scientists about this, but Quantum physics lends itself to this theory nicely. The problem is, if this can be proven and is true, then there has to be a creator. Just like there is a creator of a video game or a virtual reality, there must be a creator of our universe if it is digital. 

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12

Okay, MaryLu, enough of the science! My purpose is only to show you that Science backs up what the Bible says. (Not only in these things, but in so much more).  What we experience on this Earth in our lives, no matter whether they are short or long, is NOT reality. Just talk to the hundreds of people who have had visions of Heaven or have had Near Death Experiences and every one of them describes a world that far surpasses this one, a REAL World, where everything vibrates with life and love, music and color. None of them ever want to go back!   Nothing here on Earth compares with what they experienced in Heaven. Nothing. We don't even have the capacity to envision what it will be like!

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

We don't know exactly what Heaven will be like, but we get glimpses of it throughout Scripture. We do know that eternity is a place where there is no pain, sorrow, suffering, exhaustion, fear, heartache, sickness, aging, boredom, frustration, agony, or any of the other bad things we experience here. And Eternity is Eternal!  So, whether you live 20 years here or 100. that time doesn't even register on the eternal scale. 

For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away James 4:14

I guess what I'm trying to say is, in light of knowing this, what do you have to fear in this world? Yes, we have to get up each morning and go through our day, but who cares? This is all Fading away!!  I'm not trying to belittle whatever struggles you are going through, because I know they are real as are mine. But none of this really matters! We have only One job here as we pass through this digital dimension. And that is to know Jesus, glorify Him with our lives, and help save the lost!  That's it. Everything else is just part of the process. Remember when you get to heaven, everything you are fretting about now will not matter. When you see Jesus and run into His arms, every care, concern, sorrow, fear will melt away FOREVER.  

This is Not your Reality. Your reality is waiting you after you die or are raptured!  The Lord has been impressing on me lately to have a Short-timer's attitude. In other words, I need to realize that my time left here is extremely short. When you keep that thought in your mind, things that used to bother you, don't bother you so much anymore. 

I want to leave you with a final thought. You are God's Kid. Do you realize what that means? For those of you who are parents, you know how much you love your kids. You would die for them, do anything for them. (At least most parents). But God is the Best Parent of All and His love for His kids far surpasses any human love. You are God's Kid!  He will protect you, provide for you, comfort you, take care of you!  Of course He will.  You are a son or daughter of the Most High. Remember that. It will bring joy and peace throughout your day!
