Are you Worthy to Escape?

Dear Saints,
We are so close now to the Tribulation and going home that I feel a strong sense of urgency to both comfort you and warn you. The rapture is a reward for those believers who are faithful to Jesus, walking in obedience, have a loving relationship with Him, and who are led by His Spirit. This is NOT what most pastors preach these days, even those who actually do preach about the Rapture.  But Scripture is CLEAR. Here are just two of many verses

Keep awake then and watch at all times, praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things [taken together] that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man. Luke 21:36

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. Revelation 3:10-11

We see here that there are conditions for escaping the Tribulation, otherwise why would Jesus ask us to pray to be counted worthy?  Also, we must keep His command to persevere in order to escape the Tribulation. What is perseverance? It means to continue to follow Jesus, walking with Him in obedience.  Notice also that He tells us to Hold fast or someone may take our crown.   What crown? The Crown of righteousness!  Why would Jesus say this if our Crown could NOT be taken away?

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

We are in the final lap before we cross the finish line. Our enemy knows this. For some of us who truly love Jesus, he knows he can't ever get us to walk away from our Lord, so he does all he can to make us miserable. He sends troubles and trials and often uses our loved ones to cause strife and contention. He give us money problems and health issues to further discourage us. All this is allowed by our Father. Satan cannot touch us without His permission.  So why is God allowing it? I believe it's to further test us to see if we will stay true to Him and to refine us, purify us to be His spotless Bride!  So, I encourage you to stay the course, be strong, and don't shrink away now when you are so close to going home!

For others who are not fully committed to the Lord, Satan is doing all he can to keep them from going in the rapture. Once he has them here during the Tribulation, it will be nearly impossible to keep their faith strong. If they can't be strong now, chances are they won't be able to handle the Tribulation.

One thing Satan is really good at is deception. There are so many FALSE Doctrines out there now. There are so many pastors/Teachers preaching a false Jesus. I wrote an article on all the False Jesus's out there and how to tell if the Jesus being preached to you is the real one or not. I encourage you to glance over it again. Your very eternal life may depend on it!

Only the Children of God will be rescued!  It's actually quite simple. Who are the Children of God? Those who are Led by the Holy Spirit! Check out these verses from Romans chapter 8

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

I'll leave you with some encouragement and hope

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 818

For from of old no one has heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who earnestly waits for Him.  Isaiah 64:4

We have NO idea the wonders, the joy, peace, love and purpose God has for us in eternity!  So hang in there, Saints. There are great rewards for those who love Jesus and earnestly wait for Him!

  1. Thanks for the continued encouragement!
What kind of response do you have for people who say things like- “ people have been saying the Rapture is near for 50 years”? Then they talk about all the wars we have already had ( including the horrible WWII). I know a few things - like technology- are different now, but what else can I say?

    1. Yeah, I get that a lot too Bev. I could write an entire post on the proofs that we are near the end. Maybe I will. Yes, the technology is here for a global digital currency and the Mark of the Beast to be implemented at any time. There is also ALOT of talk about a One World Government and even plans in place to make that happen. That has never happened before. Have you friend go on the World Economic Forum and read what they are up to. Then there is the intense acceleration of storms, quakes, and volcanoes across the globe. Yes, we've always had those, but they are coming much faster and much more severe. Jesus said it would be as in the Days of Noah and Lot when He returns. In the days of Noah not only was wickedness Everywhere but they were genetically altering human DNA with Nephilim blood. Today they are using vaccines and CRISPR to genetically alter human DNA. In Lot's day there was rampant, violent homosexualism and extreme immorality which is what we see going on today. In addtion there is a massive falling away of Christians from the faith... Most churches are teaching a false Gospel or promoting things which are an abomination to God. Vilence is everywhere. In 2 Tim 3:1-4 Paul describes the character of man right before Jesus returns. Have your friend check it out and compare it to people living today. Daniel tells us knowledge will increase and people will travel very fast right before the end. Then there's the signs in the sky... planet X, solar flares, and UFOS But the biggest reason I and many others believe we are near the rapture is that Jesus said that the generation who saw the rebirth of Israel would be the last generation. Israel was reborn in 1948. If you want to chat more about these things, I'm here!

  2. Greetings in Christ Jesus Sister,
Good word MaryLu, yes we must stay spirit centered. I think this can be challenging in todays world. So much noise out there, I think the noise is a devil tool. But if we have to stop 10 times a day and re center in Christ then we must do it. I work 3 day a week and on those day's I'm up at 4:30 am praying to walk in the presence of Christ.
These new age church pastors do not believe that there is a rapture coming. And most who do believe it only metaphorically.
I was thinking about the Apostles right after Jesus' ascension. How long did they stand there looking up ? Did some stay there overnight, maybe even day's? It seems they though He was returning within their life time. I thought of the girl who went to answer the door when Peter knocked, she was so excited she left the door closed and ran off to the others. I wonder if they thought Jesus would just appear in the room, like he did after He was raised ? Lol they must have been a jumpy bunch. Did you ever get up to use the bathroom, or get a snack in the middle of the night and encounter your spouse or one of the kids coming around the corner ??? And jump out of your slippers ! I wonder if Jesus got a kick out of passing through walls speaking just a word, and all the Apostles heads spun around :) Be like JESUS dont do that ! And Jesus just eating His fish with a smile of satisfaction, gotch ya !
But to be serious, Jesus said they would see Him return in the same way He went, oh glory !!!
So much false doctrine out there MaryLu, even the "believers" believe it !
    1 Peter 1: BSB A Living Hope

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birthb into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God’s power for the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials 7so that the proven character of your faith—more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

8Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9now that you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

I love this passage. It tells us plainly, our trials come to refine our faith !

    Blessings Sweet Sister !

    1. You made me laugh, Joe with your first paragraph. I bet Jesus did get a kick out of passing through walls! And I never thought about the disciples standing there waiting for Jesus to return right away! That would probably have been me. LOL Thank you for these beautiful Scriptures!! I feel like I'm definitely being refined by the fire these days!! Blessings!

  3. Reading what you and Joe said and Bev's questions I just got a cool word "fear not your redemption is at hand" I'm guessing that means we're not going to be here much longer. Pam

  6. Keep laboring keep watching keep working-fix your eyes on Jesus. For me I can’t read all the articles and news stories. They aren’t just depressing but they are predicted, I can’t stop it from happening. Lord may the gospel go forth through us. Our mission. One thing for me that is troubling-leaders that start trying to predict even if it’s not an exact date. I will steer clear of anyone doing that. Lord give us discernment and wisdom. Blessings and hugs, Sue

    1. Yes, Sue! I completely understand. It's more important to keep you eyes on Jesus and on your eternal home and pray for the lost and lukewarm. Keep in peace, keep in prayer and forget the rest of the madness! And no date setting! Blessings!
